George, the 360s consoles have Wireless N built in now. Lay off the hate. He was asking about wireless, not about wired. As per an answer, I think you can use most N bridges/adapters for the PS3 whereas the older 360's require an adapter for wireless either b/g/n. I've had no problems using my PS3 via Wireless G without any hiccups in online play or media streaming.

Per Grider's information regarding the network speeds, gigabit ethernet is ONLY useful on your own network, say for transferring large files or streaming media from one device to another on that same network. Won't make a difference in internet or PSN connectivity/speeds.

It will work fine. These routers broadcast N G and even B WIFI, so the PS3 will work fine it will just operate at G speed.

Dude plug it in!! The PS3 has a 1000 Gb ethernet connection. Can't beat that. 360 doesn't have that, just another 360 doesn't have
