CHAPTER ONE: "THE BEGINNING"
"The voice, Wisdom, has several essential points to make. It wishes the world to become more alive and more aligned. It is the path to that end. "Wisdom cannot tell you exactly what to create out of your life; doing so would eliminate the need to live. Wisdom can only aid or guide you in creating your world. Wisdom has learned all it knows from the very method you are using-trial and error, live or die, succeed or fail. Wisdom has not come into itself by an elevated route that's above it all. Instead, it has come to its knowing in the same step-by-step way. Only, having gotten immeasurably farther along the path than you are right now, it can speak to you as though you were a student, conveying knowledge as you travel, attempting to reach the inner mind with words that echo truth, and with guidance that feels inwardly or intuitively correct. "Wisdom wants to tell everyone that there is no need to suffer. It is a big lesson for humankind. Suffering is a dilemma. Truth for the individual can only be known or gotten by trial and error. The 'error' part describes a period of pain. How can this be avoided when there really is no shortcut through the process? "We do not say that painful lessons don't exist, or aren't necessary-we say that the suffering caused by such mistakes can be easily alleviated by a new awareness. "Awakening into oneself recalls a baby who is born through a long, painful delivery, and who may continue to cry after arriving here. The continued crying is neither the shock of air, nor the smack of hand on rump, but the reaction to the long struggle, and is thus an unnecessary continuing of suffering. You are all like that until you learn to grow and change. The process whereby you learn right from wrong and good from bad-always the way of the world-is difficult, but then there is finality. After that, continued suffering is your own choice, however unconscious. "Wisdom wants to bring it all into consciousness. Wisdom wants you to have the best tools to fight against the darkness encompassing so many lives, and show how the Elevated Ones react to their lessons and struggles."

"...Stop trying to push the river."
"There is no point dwelling on what holds fear or pain for you; if you do so you will only create the same kind of energy and multiply your ongoing frustration with life. The only natural way out of these difficult states is to follow the path of happy thought forms leading to your own direct experience of the joyfully and fully transcendent state of bliss."
"Your every thought, every choice of action every decision and reaction creates the world of form. If you don't enjoy what you're doing and the life you're living, do something to change it and the entire creation will necessarily conform, since you are both the foundation of the world and its creator. You are all-powerful in the expression of the life force, and the life force must conform to your inner choices."
"The process by which you can accept new thoughts, release distrust and skepticism of them, and integrate them into your nature, is the same process by which you will transform your lower nature into something finer and greater."
"You are unhappy because you are so much more than this and because you've forgotten why you're playing the game..."
I could go on and on...but go find your own pearls ;)! These are points that some of us already may be aware of, but reading them again can serve to cement them in your mind. The book also has a summary of all the points at the end, which might help you digest the information further.
Highly recommended. Enjoy!
"Wisdom's Game" isn't really telling us anything we haven't heard before. It is a reminder to survive and thrive gracefully in a light filled way. Judi Thomases is a spiritually gifted lady who is very grounded and practical as she channels these universal codes of conduct from her guides called, The Brotherhood of Light Workers. Essentially, the message is "Life is a game and it's purpose is to stimulate our growth." Pain and suffering are part of the process as it gets us out of our comfort zones to grow and gain wisdom. Finally, we do not have to wallow in pain and suffering since we have the ability to switch off our thoughts to the positive at our will. Being emotionally controlled becomes our own limitation. Heeding and cultivating our intuition is our compass into the future.
After dinner at a Chinese restaurant tonight, I saved a fortune from my five year old's cookie. It reads, "Change your thoughts and you change your destiny." There is much deep cosmic wisdom you can learn by reading this little gem of a life guide book over a few times. However, like the fortune cookie's message..."Wisdom's Game" conveys in a simple and playful text a very obvious plan for living a peaceful and contented life.
