The Christmas story told with beautiful pictures and understandable language for even the young listeners. They were more than I wanted to spend, but when I got them I was glad I did. These books would make a lovely gift or a wonderful read aloud. My grandchildren sat quietly enjoying the story presentation, from the 10 year old to the just 4 year old.
We all know this story but I think the book is worth a look if only for the presentation.

Every parochial school needs to own this book. Not only is it important to our faith as Christians, historically it is important to understand where the Magi came from, who they were, and why they traveled so far.

Truly, this book made me cry the first time I read it. The illustrations brought one right to the place of Christ's birth and the verbiage was astounding. Easy enough for a child to understand and yet powerful enough to bring a life-long Christian deeper spiritually. Thank you Mr. Orroyo for making this Christmas one of the best ever!

The last sentence, “Follow the light, go to the King, and make haste to discover the truth” applies to all of us. Isn’t that what we are all called to do? In John 8:12, Jesus says “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” In John 14:6, He also says, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
