This is my third massage chair I've owned. I started out over 15 years ago with an iJoy from Sharper Image and replaced that with a cheap recliner model that only had back massage capability and only one mode. This chair does so much better than either of the other two I've had, there are actually adjustable speeds, and while there are 3 preset programs, you can also individually operate each function (calves, arms, butt, lower back, upper back, heat, massage, foot), each have their own control buttons. I also like it has a power recline, since my previous chair, I had to manually recline and then turn it on. This automatically puts you into the recline position seconds after you push the power button on the remote control. Setup was relatively straight forward, but it did come in three separate boxes, so lots to open, and lots of cardboard to recycle.

The Video shows two bolts left threaded.

The assembly video shows that two of the bolts to put the 2nd side on are left threaded bolts. They aren't all 4 are right hand threaded (clockwise to tighten).
I did have to search a bit for one of the tubes for the first side but was able to find it by looking through the other side and using a flashlight.
With the pillow down, I wasn't able to feel anything with the neck massager. With the pillow flipped back up it was much better.
On the remote "ascend" and "descend" refer to the position of the feet, not the back even though it says "back ascend" and "back decend"
boxes arrived over two days, however, the email did let me know that there were three boxes and that they were all shipped to arrive on the same day.
Compression pressure on the hands and calves were effective. Compression pressure on the butt was very gentle. Compression on the shoulders might be something to be concerned about if you have a shoulder injury but still wasn't harsh.
The lower back massage was nice, not harsh, but not so soft that it did nothing. More pressure if you lean back.
The upper back massage was the same, not harsh but not so soft that it did nothing, more pressure if you lean back.
The heating pad in the back of the chair is a nice touch, it does help to relax the back muscles.
The vibrating part of the seat.. well.. it was .. interesting.. my girlfriend enjoyed it more than I did.

I got this one on a 65% off cyber Monday sale and it was worth that price. I don't know that I would have paid full price and felt like it got my money's worth.

All in all as far as *my price* for the value I am getting, I'd give it an average of 4 stars.

I do miss the rolling back which went up and down my spine from the last chair I had, this one does not have that feature.

Love this chair- great value for the price. Go into the knowing you are buying a lower end massage chair. Love the foot massage, the back massage, the butt vibration. Oh- and the heat! Love the ability to recline all the way, or just part of the way if I want to read or watch tv.

Least favorite parts- the air bags- feels like it’s going to break the bones in my hands. I don’t bother putting my hands in there anymore. Don’t love the legs air bags- but I’m getting used to them. On the controls- you can lower the pressure- but I don’t notice any reduction in pressure. And I’m so short (5 ft) that the shoulder air bags do nothing for me.

The rollers on the back move in circles - not up and down the back. Again- remember what you paid for. Happy with quality for what I paid for. This is a great chair if you don’t have thousands to spend or if you want to try out a massage chair to see if you enjoy enough to spend thousands down the road (my plan).

Chair did arrive with a large silver/white sharpie line across seat/air pocket area. I think it was a notification of manufacturers defect on air pocket because it was all bunched up. I contacted customer service through Amazon and the immediate responded and offered to replace seat. Happy with customer service.

Just received the last box today and it works great :). It was easy to follow the directions and put together however two cords were hiding within the main unit i had to find. Found one so far, haven't been able to connect the shoulder air hose yet to the main unit because i havent found the cord, no big deal though. I also could only get one screw in each of the arm rests because the other holes were just a little too off, but again not a big deal. Loving the chair and i love that i can recline in it without needing it to be turned on.
UPDATE: Since i started work again i use this 1 to 2 times a day and my back has stopped hurting while working. Once i get home i use it and before bed before work. Its been a life saver for my aches.

So this is actually my first review. I bought this for my father who has a tumor that is pushing into his spine. Because of this he has had trouble sleeping. The first day we got this he was soundly asleep in the chair, his first good night rest in awhile. The thought of my father not being in pain and actually getting a decent night's rest was the best Christmas present i could get.

My mother tried the chair out, but she is a bit small. She's 5' and has issues with her shoulders. She was too short to actually get the full effect of this chair. The shoulder massagers was too high and when we reclined it all the way back her feet could not reach the foot massager.

Overall this is a great chair for the price unless you are a smaller person.

So...if you are thinking of making this your go-to, everyday chair, as I hoped it would be, you won't be happy. It isn't comfortable enough. I don't disagree with the reviewer that said it was like sitting on an expensive bag of bricks. However, if you need the benefit of the massage part and that's basically the time you'll spend in the chair, I think you'll be thrilled, especially considering the price. The seller was great and the boxes arrived together two full weeks ahead of schedule. So grateful for that. Now off to search for chair pads...
