The Wish-Bone Story
The Wish-Bone Story started almost 60 years ago thanks to a single recipe for Italian dressing and an ingenious American soldier.
In 1945, Phillip Sollomi opened a family-style chicken restaurant in Kansas City, Missouri and decided to name his place, "The Wish-Bone."
Phil's restaurant was an immediate success, but in 1948, he decided his restaurant was missing a certain...kick. He decided to ask his mother for the spicy salad dressing recipe she brought from her native Sicily. He thought his customers might like it. And they did. Today salad lovers can enjoy dozens of delicious Wish-Bone dressings with the salads they love.

Top Customer Reviews
I love the low fat and low calories in this dressing. However, there are controversies these days in the medical community about some of the ingredients in this salad dressing such as modified corn starch, egg yolk, sugar, high fructose corn syrup--and salt--this has a fair amount of salt in each serving, so go easy on this if you're concerned about salt. If you have any concerns about your diet or this salad dressing in particular you're best off asking your doctor first before using this salad dressing.
Overall, while this is a comparatively good choice when it comes to salad dressings, some of the ingredients indicate that it might not be for everybody. I love it but if you have questions check with a professional first.
