A thrilling murder mystery in an engaging supernatural world

After reading the first short story, I was already deeply engaged. What a delight to find more to get my fill! The diverse cast of characters felt rich and relatable, all with real hopes and fears. That plus the deeply complex supernatural world building made me feel at home in Frankenfurter Texas. A simple slice of the complex lives would have been a delight on its own but the thrilling mystery to tie it all together had me on the edge of my seat to the end.
