Exciting climax for the witches of Westham series

Lily and her witch compatriots have been fighting the corruption in the PIB (witch equivalent of the FBI) for the first 19 books of the series. This is the climactic fight against the evil PIB directors and their mafia collaborators. Lily is given permission to organize her squirrel army and they comport themselves very well, helping to take down the gang. As usual, there is a great deal of danger, Lily is captured, and manages to get free and neutralize the bad guy. The whole gang is taken down and it appears that Lily and Will will finally be able to get married ,although that will be in the next book, maybe). I was worried that with the major theme of all the preceeding books settled, that this would be the last book of the series. Fortunately, at least one more book is in the offing. All of the novels in this series are fantasy of course, but Dionne Lister writes so well, the plots are so well constructed and creative, and Lily continues to develop as a character and as a witch, that the novels never fail to satisfy. This novel is an excellent addition to the series. I give it a score of 9 of 10 and look forward to the next.

This is a great series. Wonderful characters, intriguing mysteries, and lots of smiles while reading. If you like cozy such mysteries with some quirky characters and a lot of laughs, you should read this series.
