But there's a serious flaw: even with the sensitivity turned to low, items you must avoid will still bounce into the witch, and no matter how far from them you move her she can still be hit. If she even backs up too soon and touches a voodoo doll or mushroom, it's counted. Try as I can, I can't make it past 7 spells, because the frequency with which they're dropped increases as I level up.

First THANK YOU to the developer who REMOVED the OpenFeint and other permissions! I was very pleased to see that!!

This app does deserve more than three stars, especially for kids and the specialized theme of the app.

My 8-year-old son has had fun with this one, and my four-year-old daughter loves playing around with it, cackling with joy every time she tilts her "phone" and the game reacts to it. It doesn't matter to her what it does, only that it is responding to her. One of the great things about it is the repetitiveness helps train and teach hand-eye coordination.

Yeah, I think it is worth 99 cents, especially without the unnecessary crap that so many other developers cram into the apps. Really, that makes me happy!

The object of the game is to tap on the correct recipe items for the "Witches' Brew" as they fall from the top of the screen. You get a list of things you need and you tap away. You have to be sure not to collect the items that aren't on the recipe. This can get repetitive for adults quickly and for children as well. However, I played a few times as it is fun. The recipes change and the items falling also change. It's a decent time waster that should be able to keep your attention while you wait for a table at at restaurant or for kids while their parent shops.

I installed and uninstalled this app within 5 minutes. It looked like a fun kid's game to pass the time, but when I launched it, I could not get the witch to move around the screen to catch falling objects. It's as though she went to the edge of the screen and would not move from that spot at all. Glad I got this on the free app of the day and didn't pay for it.

Game play:
The games starts and you get a brief tutorial of how to play by touching the question mark. You tilt your electric device to move the witch to try to catch the potion ingredients in the cauldron. Try to avoid the mushrooms and the voodoo doll. There is also a page in the lower RH corner that takes you back to the main menu. When the game starts a list will appear with the ingredients you have to catch to make the spell potion. For example you have to catch a caterpillar, a spider and a bone. The game plays with your device in the portrait mode to allow you to see the falling objects with enough time to respond and catch them. I tried to avoid catching anything that was not on the potion list.

Sounds easy huh? Just wait until the spell's recipe fills the whole page and you have to remember the ingredients. Don't worry, there is a menu list shown in a pictorial manner in the upper LH corner.

Home Screen:
* Settings - allows you to set the game difficulty, flip sensitivity, music volume and special XF volume.
* Start
* Colored icon in the lower LH corner shows you the credits, takes you to rate the game (which doesn't work) and also to their other games.

What I Like:
This is a cute game for Halloween and it is OK to play. Children will like the game as it is easy to learn.
It will be a good time killer for children to play and I am sure that they will like the graphics and music. There are also no permissions in this game!

What I don't like:
The tilt control is a bit over sensitive and it makes the witches movements happen to quickly and it is hard to fine tune her position. The game is very repetitive and even though the recipe changes, the game play essentially remains the same.

The game is a good tool to help my eye hand çoordination, but it is very repetitive. Very unclear what items you actually caught or if you simply got the correct number not type. Needs better instructions on how tointerpret if you won, if you have to start all over, or ifypu have completed a level. Heck, I don't know if there actually are any levels or if there is an end goal?

Might be good for small children because of the ease of play, constant object movement, sounds, no apparent end point, and ease of play.

Overall, not a bad game. Cute graphics. I would like it more with 2 slight changes. If you could use touch instead of tilt, and if you could set it to landscape, to give a little more space when you use the tilt feature.

Keep in mind that I'm not a fan of tilt games, I just don't feel like I have the control I need to work most games that use that as a control. I wish they could have some back and forth arrows and allow me to press them on the screen. This game would have instantly gotten better for me, and it wouldn't affect those who did want to tilt to play. The graphics are decent, as is the sound, but I just could not get into the gameplay.

The game is easy. You are given a recipe and you tilt your phone to move your witch back and forth trying to catch the ingredients as they fall from the sky, being careful to not pick up things outside of the, asked for, ingredients. Might be fun for younger players and those who like tilt-control games. Wasn't for me. That said, this game was HORRIBLE.
