I currently own one wand, and one staff. My current wand was a gift to my from my husband. Looking through this book, I find there are several others that I want to get as well, based on the properties listed. I purchased my own staff 17 years ago, and it drew me in. In my opinion, a staff is a larger version of a wand, so the sentiment was true for me. My staff chose me. I kept coming back to it over and over, a few times before I bought it.
As a lover of handcrafted items, I now have an urge to create my own wands! Maybe I'll find the right materials that call to me someday.
