Review

This collection of short stories was hot enough to get me to pay for the first volume. The small price tag is well worth the money compared to filtering through literotica or other free story sites for material.

For me, as a woman, what turns me on about "cheating wife" stories is psychological turmoil and the empowering resolution - and the competition between two men that want her, one that wants to protect her and one that wants to be consumed...

From the Author

What is it about transgression that is so erotic? How is it that sexual desire fades between couples in the most loving and caring relationships? Ester Perel gives a great TED talk on this that is worth checking out. Her basic argument is that there is a fundamental tension between love and desire. To love is "to have" while to desire is "to want." She points out that the very things that nurture love such as caring, fairness, and responsibility serve to stifle desire which thrives on naughtiness, dominance, and mischief. The erotic mind is not polite or proper. These are stories about loving couples who are seeking out that transgressive spark to reignite the desire between them. The women do this by granting strange men access to their sexuality, which is normally reserved for their husband or boyfriend. They are breaking the rules and bringing novelty and mystery back into their stable, predictable relationships. They are shaking things up through their misconduct and renewing themselves as objects of desire, helping their husbands and boyfriends to see them with new eyes. This is the sense of erotic adventure that I am working to capture. Older women often feel that men are paying more attention to younger women, so seeking attention from other men might be a way for them to build their self-esteem.

Of course feminism dictates that a woman base her self-esteem on her own worth, and that is a noble and modern aspiration. But on some level, we all get a boost from the interest of the opposite sex. (This is more pronounced in heterosexuals admittedly.) A loving husband understands these urges in his wife, but these stories delve into what happens as that attention seeking becomes a slippery slope and descends into adultery before the husband's very eyes. However, as popular as polyamory is these days, I remain deeply skeptical. These stories are intended as fantasies, not a call to action. The deep bonds formed over many years of marriage are too valuable to risk by acting out these animal urges. Look how much nicer Paris became when folks resisted the animal urge to defecate in the streets. I fear that most relationships will be damaged by the jealousy and incrimination of actual infidelity in real life. I wish those of you actively living scenarios like this the best of luck. For the rest of us, I would quote the Big Lebowski: The brain is the biggest erogenous zone. Hold these fantasies in your head and may they rekindle the fire in your loins.

Definitely more in depth than the first volume, each of these gets you more involved in the lives of the partners and by all means is quite erotic. Both of these books have very much opened my eyes to the subculture and I doubt if there's, at least for me, any turning back. And even if it's not your thing, you can always pretend to be the other man, taking the main character's wife in front of him and enjoying every second of it.

I have been following the author on various erotic story sites and recently discovered his blog. What made me follow this author was the unique take on the cuckold fetish. I have read lots of slut wive and cuckold porn but there is definitely something about his writing that just keeps me hard and coming back for more. I do recommend this and his other works if you are a fan of the genre.

I am not sure how I found his blog, but I am glad I did. This collection of stories is anything but short. Each one is a good length and you get interested in the actual story and not just a quickie bit of action. The title can be slightly misleading. Although a few could be wives actually cheating, most involve the woman exploring herself in front of her boyfriend/husband and expanding their relationship. How he responds may not be what either party expects. This could also be seen as sexually empowering the female but not belittling the spouse in what may have been a relationship that needs a push. Also what sells these stories to me is the believability to some of them. Given the right circumstances an intoxicating night with a friend or couple could have a similar outcome. Great read!

Good: There's ~ 15 stories so there is at least a couple of stories for everyone in this genre. The book is well organized so the reader can easily find what interests them within the content. The stories are a good length allowing character and plot development with plausible escalation of circumstances while not dragging on too long. "Wife Enjoys Nude Sunbathing in Public" is an example of the authors best work; he does a good job of exploring the characters actions and reactions to the gradually changing circumstances and provides a glimpse into their individual rationalization of the circumstances. Lastly the author does a great job of telling the story without getting too graphic.

Needs Improvement: Some of the stories feel rushed. For me this means not enough explanation of how each party (husband, wife, 3rd party) is responding to the situation. For example: 1) the husband's reluctance and/or protest (actual or ostensible protest) to the actions taking place or 2) the wife's rationalization of the actions taking place "at this point I've gone this far so..." or "it's not that big of a deal..."

Jorgenson's mastery of the genre lies within the wife's desire to own her own sexuality with complete disregard. The brilliance continues as he develops the story from the husband's prospective. It's commonplace to find myself on edge, demanding the husband act. The one critic with Jogenson, at times the 3rd party can dominate the husband.

Obviously cheating is a touchy subject. I've seen pages and pages of reviews telling the writer and protagonist to die in a variety of methods. So if that stuff gets you angry or hurt, this isn't for you. That said, it's not near the most brutal of stuff out there, generally the wife is doing something that turns on the husband. Some of the stories are written in the first person, where husband is the reader.

Except for a few problems it's a fantastic purchase.
Pros: There's a good amount of stories, they are organized nicely so that you can easily go to one from the table of contents, and it's all for a pretty good price. One thing you may notice is that a lot of stories will sell you like 9-21 pages for 2.99. Here you get 151 pages for the same price, so you get more bang for your buck (ah hah).
Cons: More than a few times in the first stories there were typos and at least one place where a name was misplaced. I believe these things can be changed with online publishing and we can only hope the author fixes them up and continues his publishing, cause I'm liking what I'm seeing so far.

He writes a subtle cuckoldry. Hotwives and slutty girlfriends behaving inappropriately and having fun! A good read. A different view of cuckoldry than most.
