I reached out to customer service regarding the issues below. In under 24 hours a replacement had been shipped my way. Expecting just the individual dice, I was surprised to receive a full replacement set. While my initial order was a mixed bag, the customer service here was outstanding and the replacement set was 100% perfect.

After reading several reviews about quality control concerns with this product, I went out on a limb and ordered anyways. Sadly, I received a fairly problematic order.

Pros:
- Small and highly portable dice. Great for characters who need to roll a lot of dice at once without having to cart around several large sets.

Cons:
- Package arrived with several incomplete sets. I have a few sets where a die is completely missing. Then I have four others where one is missing but I have a duplicate of another (i.e. one of the green sets has 2d12s but is missing the d20.
- Several dice are difficult to read due to the numbers only being partially colored in.
- I haven’t tested them all yet, but I have at least 3-4 d20s that are heavily unbalanced. The die themselves are misshapen to the point just looking at them you can tell they will not roll fairly.

Several complete sets in this appear fine, but sadly, the colors I enjoy most are the ones that are botched. If you are okay with ordering a product and knowing that roughly 20-30% of it will be incomplete, damaged, unbalanced, or incorrect in some manner, than go for it. The parts of this bag that are good are solid.

Once again, quality control issues abound with Wiz Dice. I was hesitant to even purchase these based on my experience with the Bag of Tricks (1/3 of the dice were damaged in that set) but alas, I did anyway. The dice are very cute and small, however, there are many visible flaws. Most obviously are air bubbles in every single set that allows you to see partially through it. Not one set has all 7 dice without flaws. That is unacceptable. Also, they don't seem to match their full-size counterparts. I own ALL of Wiz Dice's sets and some of these don't resemble the standard sets at all. The "Dragon Scales" and "Philosopher's Stone" sets are so close to each other in appearance that I'm not even sure if I separated the sets correctly. These two are easily discernable in their full-size counterparts. They should also be easy to tell apart in miniature form, but they're not. Also, all of them came with this odd chalky feel on the surface, as if they weren't fully polished. They all look dull and feel weird. I'm thinking that one of them is supposed to be Sparkle Vomit but instead of being clear with a ton of glitter, it's more of a dishwater gray color. I have no idea what other color it could be, so I'm settling with the closest one.

I'll update to post pictures if I can, but for now I wanted to get my first impressions out there. I just received these 2 days ago and while I'm (thankfully) not missing any, I can tell you that I'm not impressed. Something has GOT to be done with quality control! They've been promising me that quality control would get better since Series II Bag of Devouring was first released. It still hasn't happened. And I don't think that's right.

Wiz Dice, if you know this is a problem, you shouldn't release products that are sub-par. It ends up costing you more money to replace them all! Work it out with the manufacturer and release good quality products!

Disappointing Quality Control Ruins The Fun

Very disappointing.

I've purchased Wiz Dice sets before. In fact, I own way too many dice. (Is that even possible... too many?) Anyway, this set was a complete disappointment. The colors of the dice were muted and did not shine/pop line the larger versions. Perhaps they need another run through the polisher.

The quality control on the sets was poor. I got two identical sets, and three other sets were incomplete. I got some extra dice that were duplicates as well. I suppose that evened out the number of dice as a whole, but failed to meet the "20 complete sets" objective.

Lastly, I noticed flaws in several of the dice. I can overlook a few imperfections, but there were more than a few.

To Wiz Dice: I like your products, but this one is a no-go. Please fix your internal quality control and color problems.

The dice are very cute and roll well. However, like others who have posted reviews, I received my dice covered in a dusty film, and most of them have air bubbles in the center of them. The film seems as though it will come off with a cotton ball and some rubbing alcohol but it's not a great way to receive a "new" product. I also only received 6/7 of the gray sparkly set and received 8/7 of the dark gray marbly set. Also, the dice are advertised as 20 differently colored sets but two of the sets are the exact same color. Overall, I'm happy with the product I received but am disappointed that I didn't get a full play set in all of the colors.

(Update: The missing die turned up, having escaped into the main bag, and away from the others during unboxing. All reference to an incomplete set were removed from the review and I added a star back. If you think your sets are incomplete, check ALL the packaging!)

Before getting these I had exactly one set of miniature dice I carefully picked out of a bin at Awesome Con. They rolled well, were clearly marked, had a beautiful red pearly color, shiny finish, and take up very little space. Oh, yes and they are adorable.

I was pretty excited to see WizDice had a whole bag of mini dice. But they sort of miss on some of the above points. Of the 20 sets, one was a duplicate (two sets of dark pearly red...both look like Dragon Scale).

Most of the sets had a disappointingly dull finish, like they were not fully polished, didn't use a suitable amount of color or glitter relative to the smaller size, or the material didn't reach a temperature that would result in the end product setting well, lacking the shine the standard size normally does. When I compare many of them to the full size version, they look duller, darker and less clear.

The result is colors that struggle not to appear muted and dull underneath the lusterless surface. I know it doesn't have to be so, as my nameless bin-diving set of minis are as brilliant and glossy as full sized dice.

They could do with a bit of a polish to perk them up, less pigment for the smaller size, and a more distinct set to replace the one that appears to be a duplicate🙁

They're so tiny they're cute.
I got extra dice in a few sets.

"dusty" appearance, like they missed a polishing cycle.

This set of dice is AMAZING!!! I have pretty small hands, and as a GM, I have to roll a lot of dice. Using regular dice sets has always been a challenge for me. But with this set, I can roll easily and comfortably.
I bought a rolling tray with these as well, and that helps out A LOT. (If you don't have one, look into it.)
The number of dice was actually a lot more than I expected it to be. The color selection is fantastic, the dice are all clearly readable and seem to be made well. I don't see any obvious deformities. I know some other reviews mention that the dice are not made correctly, with many, or possibly all having dents or bubbles. For me, this isn't a big deal, especially since I don't notice any of these problems. Also, I play a very casual game, and I'm the GM, so my players don't see my rolls anyway. It's really just for me. If I wanted something foolproof and 100% randomized, I'd use a dice rolling app. There are tons now, even google has one.
For me, these are wonderful, and I love them dearly.

Missing TWO D4s

Good price for hard to find mini dice; however, two D4s were missing, and and the dice were unpolished, dusty, greasy, and nasty.

Buyer beware.

This is an on-going problem with this company. Plan to waste more time and trouble if you need complete sets or clean dice for gaming. Wiz Dice were disappointing compared to other mini dice we have bought in the past from other companies. (But then, other companies' mini dice cost $4 to $6 for a set of 7.)

For a mixed bag of dirty, random mini dice, this a bargain. For sharable gaming sets, this is undesirable number 1.

Halfing Bag O' Rejects!

I am obsessed with tiny dice, so I hemmed and hawed over the mixed reviews before pulling the trigger on this purchase.

Pros:
- Adorable and technically a great value; 20 sets of dice for 30 bucks is nothing to sneeze at!

- Very gay colors, 10/10.

Cons:
-Each set had multiple flaws ranging from:

1. Not being tumbled after casting, leading to dull looking dice.

2. Huge air bubbles inside many sets.

3. Uninked sides on some dice.

4. Almost every 1d3 in the bag had big enough recessions in the plastic to allow ink to collect and dry in the middle.

5. I was lucky enough to recieve all complete sets of dice, but many people on here were not. I was actually pleasantly surprised that none of them were missing.

-The embroidery on the bag, while cute, is pretty sloppy machine work.

In the end I just really wanted a ton of tiny dice, which is what I got. It really feels like Wiz Dice just tossed every practice/reject set into a bag and slapped a price tag on it, so if youre looking for playable tiny dice I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere. However, if you want a cute little bag of tiny reject dice to craft with, it's worth the value!

These dice are ridiculously adorable. My main character is a halfling and I thought it would be amusing to have appropriately-sized dice. When I opened them up (they came loose and needed to be sorted), my youngest looked at me and exclaimed, "What have you done? Did they shrink in the dryer?!?" Lol.

The pouch is decent quality and fits at least 15 sets of regular-sized die with room to spare. The only bummer is that, while 140 dice were present with this set, there was an extra d8 and a missing d20. After reading other reviews, I see this is a common issue. I also received two sets that are the same color, but again, not a huge deal. There also appear to be bubbles in the center of most of the die. From my (admittedly, incredibly novice) viewpoint, they still seem to roll nicely.

Is it worth $30? Eh. Maybe as a gift for the right person. Considering that there are not a ton of options for 10mm die, it still seems like a decent value for the variety (especially if you get lucky and end up with all 140 dice without any mix-ups!).
