Ordered several versions on this (flat, dash mount and air vent mount) particular unit from WizGear. I believe these to be in the top 25% in terms of quality/design from what I've seen, and it's very useful to be able to "toss" a phone onto it and have it stick. As long as the phone case is not too thick you can put the very thin [supplied] metal plates between case and phone. Wife and I occasionally change drivers across our three vehicles (one of which is a motorhome), and while we both have iPhones her's is the 7Plus and mine is the 7, so it's better [for use] than the ones you have to adjust for each phone.

This product worked great for me! This is the third cell phone holder I've bought to use in my car and it was so successful. The others didn't work at all. I have a VW Tiguan, which has a lot of curvy edges to it but I put it over the cardholders at the top of the middle section, to the left the middle and could see it perfectly. I'm using the rectangular magnetic plate, in between my cell and the case, which is smaller than my cell phone so I had to find the sweet spot to make sure it attached securely. I'm thinking of adhering it to the middle of my cell back so I always know exactly where to place it.
I used it on a trip to a city I was completely unfamiliar with this past weekend. Between the WizGear and Google Maps I never got lost, I was so happy. I could even attach my car charger to my cell with it attached to the WizGear to make sure I never ran out of battery charge. This product works beautifully! I highly recommend it.

Ive always thought the large cell phone holster adhered to the dash with some coiled flex-wire etc etc was an eyesore - and too tacky to ever consider for the value of having my phone front & center while driving.
This WizGear unit is barely noticeable when not being used, only uses a simple magnet to adhere, and works perfectly.
I've been bragging about this little device for the last couple months since i bought it to anyone riding in my car.
I'll probably buy a couple more to give to family members due to its attractive price-point and the value its brought me.
Its a cool little gadget and im very satisfied & impressed with it, and WizGear for that matter, whom id previously never heard of.
Oh yeah - and installation takes about 3 minutes.

I stuck this on my dash in a few places and it kept falling off. I'm not sure if it was the texture of my dash, but it didn't work for me. I drive a Prius 2016.

Let me start by saying, I am a cynic and very critical. This product was... Exactly as described - and that doesn't happen often online. Magnet way stronger than expected (used with cheap rose gold 3rd party metal stick on inside of 1/4"+ very thick case.) Blends in perfectly with dash and socks instantly. Exactly what I wanted. Impressive.

Great magnet. The glue holding it to the dash, however... not so good. Heat from parking in the sun melts the adhesive and it falls off. Replacement sticky pads did the same thing.

I bought this product to use for my Fastrak unit that I supposed to display either on my dashboard or windshield. The Fastrak unit comes with white velcro adhesives that quite frankly look ugly from the outside of the car. To add, I have 3 vehicles and need to share the Fastrak unit between cars and wasn't about to put that ugly white velcro on my windshield or dashboards. Instead, I applied the WizGear Extra Slim magnet to the Fastrak unit and applied the sticky adhesive metal stickers to the windshield of my cars. The metal adhesives are much more discrete than the white velcro strips. Now when I want to move my Fastrak unit between the cars it comes off easy and simply stick it on the other car. Magnet holds the Fastrak unit firmly although I haven't tested it in a sudden braking situation (not that I want to). Overall, I'm happy with the purchase and it works for what I needed it to do.

This is the thing I never knew I always needed. I use my phone as a GPS a lot, and I've always awkwardly put it in the cup holder to try to see it while driving. No more! I stuck this by my shifter in my SUV and I can now see the whole phone and even turn it either direction if I want. I put the magnet inside my phone case, so my phone looks no different. If I had known this existed, I would have bought it a long time ago! Even stays stuck in the Texas heat!
