Puppy was a it shy bout it

I thought my cat that plays fetch 24/7 if we allow him to would love this. It took him forever to figure out what it was and how to get it to work other than to look at his humans and fool them into topping it over for him to get the treats out. He did eventually did eat the cheese string out of the top but I don't know when. The reason his name -IS- puppy is because he has so many of the dog traits.... Playing fetch, getting into the garbage, chewing shoe strings/hoodie strings, chewing plastic, etc. I was disappointed. I thought it would be a bigger hit. We have two cats and with Rascal he wouldn't even go near it. Both are Egyptian Maus.

This is my cat's favorite toy. She'll bat at it even when it's empty to let me know I need to put treats in. My only complaint is that, as she eats the string treats down, they tend to fall into the hamster and she can't get them out. Small complaint, though. The toy has taken a real beating and has held up great. I may need another one so our other cat can play too.

My cats were very uninterested in this toy I purchased for them. My cats are very picky about their toys and what they actually will play with. Other cats may think this toy is awesome; however, my cats were completely uninterested in playing with this at all. They didn't even seem to want the treat sticks. The treat sticks appear kinda dry and this may just be how all of them are. Again my cats are very picky about the type of toys they will play with and this is not one of them.

My cat loves playing with string and ribbon, so this seemed ideal. But as others have said, the "strings" just fall right out of the holes with no effort by my cat. The packaging shows them curling a bit, but they are basically flexible sticks that provide no enticement, except to chew up and eat. And the hole in the side that spills small, hard treats is way too easy: they just fall out without any effort. A big fail, at least for my cat.

I was looking forward to seeing my cats have fun with this. Unfortunately the weight on the bottom is to heavy for it to wobble much. I have two cats that have other treat toys they like to play with. They tried this and were not enthused....perhaps a bit lazy. They do not like the strands in the ear and with only one hole for the treats, it takes more of a wobble to get the treat out. I feel the toy should rock back and forth a bit more to entice them to play. Sorry to say - save your money.

A TRUE WASTE OF MONEY, Our cats completely ignore this toy and have no interest in the treats or strings at all. I tried to see if our Golden Retriever would at least munch on the treats or strings - she eats everything, no go. She walked away. Do yourself and your cat a favor, buy the cat some catnip or some Greenies dental treats. If I could, I would do zero stars. Another walk down the Boulevard of Broken Dreams, hats off to Billy Joel

Not so much of a fan. I thought the cats would like it, but they were pretty bored with it, even though it was treats. The string treats are chewy but pretty hard. The treats in the belly don't come out that easy. I am going to try it with a different treat to see if they will like it more. I do have fairly playful cats, but they don't seem to be interested in playing with this.

This was a huge hit with the kitten in our house! He is really enjoying it. The ears were gobbled up as soon as I put it on the floor! I have filled it with food so he doesn't get too full on treats and he still loves it! Our older cat is curious but not really interested in playing, that's fine with me though I bought it hoping they would both play but it was more for the kitten anyway!
