They don't slip on carpeting due to their ridges. Because of their ridges, they lock together to form a taller shim if needed, and I do use them that way. I like 'em, and I'm really glad the manufacturer keeps making them just as they are.
I tapped a couple of these under the stand's front legs and viola! a perfectly
level TV. These things are so handy that I ordered an extra package just to have
a few spares in the drawer.
But the best use I've found for them has been to keep a couple in my purse for those times when you get a wobbly table at a restaurant or cafe. How nice it is to no longer have to keep apologizing for making the table bump back and forth, no more holding it down with your forearms while trying to eat. Just remember to take the shims with you when you leave! Fortunately, they're not expensive, so if you do forget one, it's easy to buy more.

Does its purpose. They are balancing an approx. 100-120lb dresser. No more leaning and no more drawers coming rolling out on their own.Published 3 months ago by Josh Cabrera
