I use these under sets of Skandia shelving, to make sure the shelving leans TOWARD THE WALL rather than in a random direction. They've worked for this purpose for me through three different apartments. They don't crush, like a wooden shim would. I've tried wooden shims. Under 80 shelf feet of books, wooden shims crush nearly flat. These plastic shims do NOT do that.

They don't slip on carpeting due to their ridges. Because of their ridges, they lock together to form a taller shim if needed, and I do use them that way. I like 'em, and I'm really glad the manufacturer keeps making them just as they are.

I needed to level/stabilize a dresser and two tall knick-knack cabinets on carpet that has some very unfortunate padding irregularities. The furniture is white and the carpet is a very light silvery-gray. The Wobble Wedges were the perfect solution. Although they look white on the packaging image for Amazon, they are very translucent and blended into the carpet perfectly. In fact, my spouse couldn't even tell that I had used shims to balance the furniture! The package illustrates a couple of shim position options, one of which I probably wouldn't have considered on my own, but which turned out to be the best choice for one of the legs. The shims have tiny ridges for traction, and all 12 shims that I used were of the EXACT same size and shape. In the past few years, I've become accustomed to buying stuff that has irregular edges or a poorly made part, or a "set" of four of something in which none of the four items match each other. The Wobble Wedges are refreshingly "perfect"! I actually looked on the package to see where they were manufactured, and, low and behold, they are made in the USA! I am buying another set so that I will have some on hand for the future, and I think I'll also buy some for my parents. The package describes a new alternative version called Soft Wobble Wedges, so I'll probably get a set of those also, just to see if any other applications come to mind. Even though I opted for standard shipping, the package was delivered much quicker than I anticipated, and was in excellent condition. I have absolutely no hesitation about recommending this product and this seller!!

My 55" TV was canted because the stand it was on did not sit level on the carpet.
I tapped a couple of these under the stand's front legs and viola! a perfectly
level TV. These things are so handy that I ordered an extra package just to have
a few spares in the drawer.

I got these mainly to make some of the shelves in my house tilt backwards toward the wall rather than forward toward the floor. They do a great job of that - it's very convenient that you can stack them if you need to make a thicker shim. They are ridged, so stacked shims lock together and do not slip.

But the best use I've found for them has been to keep a couple in my purse for those times when you get a wobbly table at a restaurant or cafe. How nice it is to no longer have to keep apologizing for making the table bump back and forth, no more holding it down with your forearms while trying to eat. Just remember to take the shims with you when you leave! Fortunately, they're not expensive, so if you do forget one, it's easy to buy more.

I had never heard of these before, but I'm so glad I'm familiar with them now! They have fixed several wobbly items in my house and replaced the ugly wadded up and folded paper, cards, and plastic pieces that had been stuck under the various offending legs. A few of things only required one of these ramp-shaped little miracles (for example, my vintage magazine rack with a mini table on top), and a couple of things (like my outdoor couch made from a truck tailgate and recycled wood) needed a few stacked up to stop the teetering. They worked in a wide variety of situations. Since I've discovered these, I have recommended them to several friends and family members. These are awesome little things that will actually make a small difference in your life - especially if one of your pet peeves is tables, chairs, etc that are unbalanced. A simple, inexpensive fix that I'm going to keep on hand from now on!

What can I say. This is a very cheap, quick and life saving kind of non electronic gadget for the wobbly tables in my restaurant Butterfly Belly in Portland Oregon. The cement floor is totally not leveled all over the place and the tables with the round bases that were handed to us were missing all of the four adjustable screw type leg bases. Instead of buying four of the expensive adjustable screws where it is a lot more costly and you will have to adjust all four corners to stop the wobbly problem, this wedge does the trick in one easy shot. These have enough of a height incline which does the trick. For trickier very uneven floor, mini pot holes or dips type you might want to buy the thicker ones. The only minor cons would be once in a while these will get lost underneath the bases as you or your customers would move the table. Great for my restaurant and hope this will help yours home, business or restaurants too. Of course there are so many other applications for this in wood working, hanging doors, trims and etc.
