"Good choice for Patricia Briggs fans. Well written with a grab that won't stop." --- SherryM
"Exquisite worldbuilding underpins this tale of a young woman coming to grips with her werewolf nature, her self-chosen exile from her pack, and her new relationship with Wolf, the Alpha of another, much less traditional, wolf pack." --- C.M.
"This isn't an instant smell and mate type shifter romance.... This is the type of book for someone who enjoys wolf shifters, pack dynamics, a strong female lead, and the ability of that female to move on with her life and mature into who she was meant to be. It is well plotted and written. There's a decent amount of shifter moments, no sex at all, which was different but welcome. Overall a good read." --- Dan's Wife

The trilogy is about a young woman who is also a werewolf, she's stifled her wolf due to fear and her upbringing. There are many other things going on in this series, but you need to read the books!
The characters are thoughtfully developed, and despite never hearing of Ms. Esterling previously, she definitely has a new fan in me.
The plots of all three books are great, as are the villains. The hero/heroine are written with humor, and she is able to bring forth humor as well. Anytime a book can make me laugh AND cry, and NOT want to stop reading? Great book!
I highly recommend this series. I've already purchased the continuation series as well...I will let you know my thoughts on those as well.
Until then...Good reading!
Wow!!! Why not rate this with 5 stars?! It's very engaging and well written! The plot is excitedly unfolded and the characters are well detailed and thought out ♡ How could you not like Wolfie?! This is the first I've read from this entertaining author and will not be the last! If you love a clever and diverting werewolf book, look no further! Loved that this is totally teen appropriate as well ♡♡♡♡
Wow, so some of the reviews for this are scathing! I think people often don't go with the flow of a story. They have a set idea and when an author doesn't meet those expectations the reader is disappointed. I, however enjoyed this second book. It was completely different from every other werewolf tale I've read. The introduction was very inventive! Recapping the characters in a very unique fashion! This was chalk full of betrayal and it's seemingly coming from every direction. We had a death and a birth that added layers and emotional depth. There were a few surprise elements here and there. I am so looking forward to book three! Hoping for more Wolfie ♡♡♡♡♡
Finally the conclusion!! Terra was driving me crazy with refusing Wolfie's request and he was driving me crazy by the way he kept leaving her. You have to agree that this is one very original werewolf series with untraditional ideas. This is by no means predictable or boring! The ending was perfect ♡♡♡♡
So, this werewolf saga is a huge departure from the last series I read. In that last one, werewolves were pretty much nasty horrible creatures with few redeeming qualities.
The Wolf Rampant Trilogy goes in the exact opposite direction. Sure, they are still wolves, but mostly they are noble and decent and the stories are written with a bit of a romance novel feel to them. So much so that at times it was a little too sweet for me which is why I didn't give the series a 5 star rating.
Still, the characters are likeable (except for the obvious villains), and the books were well written, which counts for a lot in my opinion.
