Editorial Reviews

From Booklist

Livi Mayeux is devastated when her father ships her off to England to become a proper lady. She may not be Lycan like her brothers, but she has run as wildly across the Louisiana bayou. Despite her wishes to return home, however, her new chaperones convince her to put her best foot forward. They may need a better helper than Grayson Hadley, who stirs desires in Livi no proper lady should feel. Dare delivers a sparkling second entry in her Hadley Brothers trilogy, following The Wolf Who Loved Me (2012), an adventurous romp light enough on the paranormal that readers who relish the traditional Regency romance and its play on social mores should give it a try. --Nina C. Davis

This was yet another great book by the writing duo known as Lydia Dare. Such a cute and charming read and it definitely made me anxious to get my hands on the next book in this series. I love the humor that is infused throughout the book. It doesn't feel phony or over the top as some books with humor in them tend to feel. It feels true to the characters and the world that Lydia Dare has created.

With this installment in the Westfield Wolves we are treated to the HEA of Grayson Hadley and Liviana Mayeux. These two were great together and I love the chemistry between them. Right off the bat you can sense the attraction between them yet both try to deny it and their feelings.

Liviana has recently been shipped off to England to live with the grandfather she has never met. All she wants to do is return home to her father and brothers back in Louisiana. England is just too uptight, boring and cold. She wants no part of it, nor her grandfathers quest to turn her into a proper lady and to find her a husband. She can find herself her own husband back in Louisiana where she can be herself.

As soon as Grayson lays eyes on Liviana all bets are off. He's hooked and everyone can see it. Well everyone but himself and Liviana. Grayson wants no parts of being leg shackled but there is just something about Liviana that draws him in and he just can't seem to resist her charms. He knows that he's no good and that she deserves better, but he just can't seem to stay away from her.

I loved these two together. Grayson is so lovable and such a bumbling dolt whenever he gets around Liviana. It was just so cute. Both were made for each other and I just loved watching these two realize their true feelings for one another.

This book definitely has me itching to get my hands on the next book. I am dying for Archer's story.

This is my second book written by the ladies that compromise the Lydia Dare Nome de Plume and I am completely captivated. I am currently working on gathering all of their books but like all things it takes time. As part of a series so very often you hear a book can stand alone and it can't. Or you will read a book and it spends so much time explaining the past books that you get frustrated. I am so pleased to say that Wolfishly Yours escapes both of those traps. Yes, after reading this I want to go back and find out information that was learned in previous books but I am not overwhelmed with information unnecessary to this book.

Grayson Hadley is a dog.. ok he's a wolf but he has the manners of a, well you get the picture. He is a rogue and a rake, an impoverished younger brother and a man with no couth.. In frustration his oldest brother the Alpha of the pack, has hired a Lady to give Grayson and his three brothers comportment lessons. To teach them how to get on in society. Yeah, not working out so well..

Liviana Mayeux is a wild child, the only daughter of a French American from New Orleans and the daughter of an Earl. She has been allowed to run wild until an obnoxious condescending overbearing priest convinces her father that she needs to learn how to be a lady and he sends her off to her Grandfather. A Grandfather that hates her father and resents the fact that his only child left him for a "Frenchman". He shows his resentment by demanding Livi become a perfect lady.. *rolls eyes* To that end he calls upon his daughter's best friend to help. She and her companion and sons set out to help launch Livi.

Only problem is, Livi has no desire to change, the two sons are rogues of the first order and poor Lady Sophie can not create miracles.

I'm not sure this belongs with The "Westfield wolves" Not too bad considering it seems missing a bit.... or some of the vitals...

I was hoping that this heroine shifted also; I would have like Liviana to be a lady wolf in all ways.

The sisters of the Ursuline in chapter 20, are they female bear shifters?doe

I would have liked to hear more about how Lady Grace was kidnapped not just she was returned

I like this but not as much as the first 3 those were about the actual Westfield brothers and the 4th about their witch friend

Perhaps this could be part of The "Hadley wolf" series maybe with The wolf wolf loved me. All of the Hadley brothers and Lady Sophie

YAY! I have now completed all the Lydia Dare books that are currently out or will be soon. I'm super excited that I got a chance to check out Wolfishly Yours. I'm not going to lie, I liked this a whole lot more than the last book. Granted I did like The Wolf Who Loved Me, but this one was a lot more exciting to me. Before I divulge why I liked this a whole lot more let me share what the book is about first.

Raised in the Bayou of Louisiana, Miss Liviana Mayeux is thrust on to English soil to live with her grandfather, Lord Holmesfield. Having no desire to make England her permanent home, she seeks out the help from Grayson Hadley when he comes to visit with his mother. Liviana notices there is something special about Grayson. Especially, when she notices the mark of the beast on him. Both are drawn to one another, yet Lord Holmesfield would prefer someone with more quality stock to marry his granddaughter. Hmm, makes y'all wonder what Grayson will do to capture Liviana's heart.

Instead of saying I like this book, I might actually say I loved this book and here is why: First off, I LOVE Liviana. She is absolutely fun and full of life. I mean I would describe her to have a lot of spunk. I absolutely love that in a heroine. The feistier the heroine is leaves the hero with a bigger challenge, which makes a lively read. Love how shocked Grayson is with Liviana's brashness. That brashness probably stems from her American roots. You got love when authors throw in an American to English soil adds more depth to the story. With that said you might want to continue reading the Lydia Dare books. Now I have to wait for Archer story. I wonder if Lady Sophia is the girl for him or another, but I'm hoping its Sophia since there is so much animosity between them.
