I parked out of sight and slowly turned the volume up than back down again as though the ice cream guy was driving around the block! Called my buddy and could hear the girls begging for money in the background! Hahahaha Long story short, we all went out to DQ for some ice cream after all, (my treat), but it’s all in good fun!

Installation was very easy and simple. Mine is mounted to the dash of my jeep jl with heavy duty velcro and the bullhorn part screwed into the cowl/defroster air intake on the hood by the window, it was originally put under the hood but that cut the volume down dramatically. It is much louder mounted externally and is fairly directional as to where the front of the bullhorn is. It has made it through 2 seasons and part of winter here in the PNW with no issues so far. Love messing with people with the ice cream truck sounds and the cow moo sound. Most fun mod on my jeep for sure. Though the PA function is awful and only picks up when you are basically yelling into the cheap microphone it comes with

I thought it may be bigger than needed, so I took it apart, and yes, it was half empty.
So, I cut it in half, and made a back with vent holes.
Made it much nicer for my install.
For the money, not bad.

I bought this about 8 months ago and had it professionally installed in my jeep. I knew someone who had something similar in college but it had a push to talk handset instead of a microphone. I even tracked down a push to play mic of better quality so i could have fun with it driving around. Honestly, they should have made this with a push to play mic.. To the point, the animal sounds are great and fun to play with. The PA system picks them up and blasts them out. Unfortunately, if you are using the microphone to talk, the quality of the sound is much worse for some reason. Also the little mic they have is not really feasible for using while driving, plus it is also not a natural fit in your hands. The price and easy installation make this worth while if you like having it as a daily toy gag..

The songs not so much and the microphone is not very good at all. For the price I'll call it a good deal. Make sure you have some wire handy because the wires that come with it are plenty short.
