..... Difference between "Full Grain" and "Nubuck" leather...
Full grain leather is the leather on boots that's typically glossy and really smooth where the Nubuck is a full grain leather that has been scraped and abraded to give it a suede or velvet feeling to it and is usually dull/flat color. The Nubuck allows the boot maker to use imperfect pieces of cowhide where the Full Grain uses uniform pieces, both use the full thickness of the cowhide.
The color is described as "Dark Brown" however it is actually tan, not very manly. I used leather lube to darken them. Also disappointing is the leather is actually a suade. Honestly, I'd be sending them back if I had paid full price for them.
I like them very well.
dont forget to wear your long socks , hard to find my size , but this guys an Gals know their stuff/ and are proud of their work .

My husband eats up work boots doing concrete . These ones last longer than any other brand he has tried for $140 and under range. Great value when they go on sale.Published 3 months ago by A. L. Lewis
