Dry but NOT Warm

Conditions: I wore these in dry 22 degree F weather. There was slick mud on the ground and I had to walk through a small creek to get to my tree stand.
Look: Very cute and look sturdy. They have an athletic sole, which is the main reason I chose these. i'm sure if I would wear these more, the sole would become more flexible as they are broken in, but I will not be keeping them so I can't attest to that. I'm not one for stiff clunky boots.
Feel/Fit: They are comfortable but they fit slightly more snug than i would like. They fit with one pair of thick wool socks but any more than that would have made my toes crunch up. I usually wear size 6.5-7 depending on the brand, so I ordered a 7 to allow for socks. I should have ordered a 7.5.
Stability: These are pretty stiff to start with but I'm sure they would be easier to walk in as they get broken in. They were very stable as I walked through slick mud up and downhill. The tread is aggressive and grips nicely.
Dryness: My feet were completely dry.
Warmth: I was only in my tree stand for 2 hours before my toes were ice cold and aching. It was only 22 degrees...we're not talking sub-zero here. You would think they should be warmer than that!
Overall Impression: If I was just using these for hiking, they would be a great boot (but remember half a size up for socks!). But if you need a boot for staying warm over extended periods of time, these are not what you want! I wish they kept me warm, otherwise, I would be keeping them...sadly, I will be returning them for a warmer pair ASAP.

There is very little arch support. Hopefully they will be warm. I ordered the brown on brown after having seen the pink lining in the photos of the camo. Surprise... the all brown has pink lining too! Not what I expected or wanted. Why do companies think women always want pink somewhere??? The are waterproof and with 600g of Thinsulate I am expecting warmth. We will see.
