Every single picture in this book tells you an amazing story... Women are heroes conceived by the French photographer and street artist JR is unvaluable. The book it's a collection piece. I bought my copy and after i got it, i had to buy another as a present to a friend. Great book quality, paper selection, hardcover and of course awesome photographs. Highly recommended.

It's hard - impossible - to appreciate the scope and drama of this artist's work without seeing it in the context of the cities, architecture and human tumult into which the artist JR has cast and layered his images. There are so many powerfully intertwined themes: visual, political, social and metaphorical. The book is a stunning documentation of the work.
It presents the multiple vantage points and cumulative impact that no one visit to a site and no single perspective on the artwork can give. It's a thrilling exploration of not only one man's creative vision, but also of the fluidity and complexity of environmental art, in which everyone and everything present is an integral part of the work. Really, anyone who is interested in art of any kind should know this work and this book is an excellent guide.
