Great literary style. Subtle character development. This book reads like the pages of a diary that has the understanding someone will read it. Eventually. Dialog is quaint and sufficient which I prefer. The main character is somewhat neurotic but too unaware to say such a thing. Despite being in the LGBTQ genre, this book is more about finding love where one had not looked before. Gender could easily be replaced with race which is for some, still another taboo.

A wonderful reading. A great story involving two great female characters. Very sexy. But sex is not the only thing in this novel. It goes deeper and deeper into human relationships. I got to read this novel because Playboy magazine stated that as an erotic novel, it was much better than 50 shades of Gray. So I was expecting lots of sex. But I am glad I did not find all that sex. Instead, I found a great novel, wonderfully written. Much better than I expected. Congrats to the author!
