I started reading this book this morning and finished it this evening: amazing and gentle queer read. Caldwell does an excellent job painting the story in such a way that the reader is easily able to fall in love with the love interest, Finn, and just as easily able to develop an immense hatred and longing for the character, as well as sympathy for the main character. I have highlighted many anecdotes for the book and pondered not only what Caldwell meant, but what the writings meant to me personally. This book will definitely grace my bookshelf over the years and will appear dog earred and obviously well read. 10/10

I would have given this book four stars if not for two errors (one grammatical, and one word choice) I came across while reading it. I blame the editing rather than the author, but they did detract from an otherwise amazing book. I flew through this book--reading it between 11 PM and 12:30 AM.

Any woman who has loved another woman will be able to relate to this book--whether it was a messed up love, like featured in this book, or whether it was a love that helped you learn something about yourself.

Read "Women" on a short flight with my ex (complicated) and felt like I was reading our story.

Chloe's writing is so vulnerable, so easy and addictive yet not overly simplistic...
not really sure what to say except to say I felt like I didn't take a real breath until the last page.

I'll tell you in person spoke to me in a way no memoir ever had but with Women and her launch into queer territory... I'm dead.

I will read this one again and again. what an absolute gem.
