It’s 178 pages of advice all wrapped up into one neat informative package. A woman wrote about the adventures she had in the military and her relationships with her sisters-in-arms. She also mentioned how important it is to make a plan before you enlist. “Decide how the military will be an avenue for your next chapter.” This advice is important since oftentimes the military isn’t typically a life-long career. The book offers solidarity for females who have served and who are currently serving.
Some of the stories are breathtaking. From the mental health tolls to the bravery of the women. This book proves that opening all ranks and occupations to the women was the right choice.
This book is a must read for anyone looking to better understand the life of a female veteran and for those looking to pursue the military as their next career choice. Thank you to Amanda Huffman for taking the time to interview, compile, and publish such intriguing and informative stories.
