Both women and men will enjoy this romantic thriller as one of Courtney’s young writers tells her startling news about a new bio-chemical weapon developed in top secret by the U.S. Army. The weapon is an odorless, colorless mixture added to drinking sources that incapacitates the aggressive nature of men so that they are uneager to fight and also lose interest in pursuing women. The author takes the reader on a journey from New York City to Washington D.C. and then onto a Navy SEAL mission in ISIS territory and finally back to Chappaqua, New York as the secret drug is tested and deployed and tested and deployed yet again.
Layers of hurt that have built up in Courtney during the years at the prior injustice against her are peeled away as Courtney, with the aid of a posse of women and two pro-feminist men, exacts her revenge on the original perpetrators. One man is mild mannered Roger Thornwood, the inventor of the bio-chemical drug, who hopes to promote peace in the world. The other is George Cleary a billionaire hedge fund manager who has provided financial support of the magazine. Which one is Courtney’s soul mate? You’ll have to read it to find out. The writing is both sassy and engaging. The erotic portions of the writing are provocative and seductive. This was truly an enjoyable read.
