Editorial Reviews
Review
?[P]rovides helpful information for the collection development librarian as well as the reference/instruction librarian. Faculty and students in the field of women's studies will also find this book a valuable addition to the collection....The librarian new to collection development would find the sources and methods detailing the selection of the entries an important introduction to the main resources in the field. The inclusion of electronic resources will aid the librarian in educating students and faculty about resources which complement the print collection. The bibliography will serve equally well as a quick reference resource or as a text to be studied and read as a summary of scholarship in the field of women's studies from the mid 1980s to the end of the 20th century. Recommended for academic collections.?-Collection Management
?This should be an essential part of any academic libraru collection and an invaluable resource for feminist/gender studies.?-Reference Reviews

How are ratings calculated?
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.
