UPDATE - to my surprise, Sheri6 is right. While my Alton Brown adjustable measuring cup, seemingly identical in construction to this one, could be used for dry or liquid measuring, this one is advertised only for dry. Other cups sold by Amazon, which appear to be of identical construction, are advertised as being for both wet and dry, as was my Alton Brown cup chewed up by our Black lab.
A cup which will measure both is much more helpful that one which measures only dry ingredients.
So, Sheri6 has shown me that I should read item descriptions more carefully. I got what I ordered but not what I wanted.
I have three of these, I started with one and had to get two more. They're great. I'd recommend getting the Wonder Cup over the Oxo plunger style cups. The Oxo model has a nice rubber seal, but it's easily damaged by a run in with a heated drying cycle or a confused fiance that doesn't know how to put it back together. These cups are simple two piece plastic and are about as dummy proof as they come.
Make the leap, you won't be sorry.

Great measuring cup; especially for sticky or greasy ingredients.Published 11 months ago by Heather
Just don't like the mess. Sticky stuff gets everything stuck. Easier for me to use a regular measure cup and spatula, less mess.Published 11 months ago by Peoria

this is the second wonder Cup I've owned, had the other one for 10+ years, finally couldn't read the numbers anymore had to get another one, I love it!Published 19 months ago by Debbie Neel
It was a gift. Just like one I have had for many years, except now 2-cup and white instead of yellow.
Only the real deal works the best. It is definitely a Wonder!
