Do not waste your money and go with Swisspers

I don’t even know how these fundraisers are still being sold to people. I don’t know how one could use this for any liquid make up what so ever. Once liquid anything makes contact with a sponge it swells instantly and doubles in size. The sponge and then immediately begins to fall apart. I bought the sponges for art and I use them to paint my Reborn‘s. When using to absorb extra paint and for blending the sponge was leaving pieces of itself all over the door and it had to be redone in the sections are use the sponge on. Now if I were to use this for my make up I would be Pissed if that happened and this crap ended up all over my face. Either way these sponges are useless for everyone for everything. I highly recommend swisspers Cosmetic sponges which I ended up buying after I return these ones and they are wonderful! They also can be reused over and over and over again if you choose to! You also can buy them from Sally’s as well as Amazon. I choose to buy them from Amazon which many of my items come from this company and I love them! I also chose to put this on my subscribe and save items as I will continue to use them in my line of work

Small, soft & disposable, perfect for blending, works for me!

These are good considering the price and quantity. I only use them for blending my make-up, foundation specifically. I don’t use them for applying foundation as I find they are too absorbent and I prefer the foundation on my face versus my applicator. So, I apply with my finger tips and then blend with a sponge. I use one side each time so usually get 2-3 uses out of each sponge then I toss it in the trash. I’ve tried the egg-shaped applicators but am not a fan of them and really prefer to use a new, clean sponge (surface) on my skin for each use. I don’t always wear foundation so I don’t burn thru the bag of 100 very fast...I’d say that one bag easily lasts a year or longer.

This product has an attractive price for a 100 count, but you truly get what you pay for... I use these sponges to apply foundation, and they are way too small to hold comfortably. When I push on them, I can almost feel my fingers touching my face. I used jumbo size (top in the picture) before from a different brand and they worked well. The bottom of the picture is Wonder Wedge, and you can see that the thickest part is not that thick. On the bright side, the texture is the same and not too porous.

These sponges are super permeable and light weight. If you are using them for something that you want super light coverage then they might be fine. I bought them to use with my makeup and it soaks completely through to my fingers and the sponge falls apart before I am finished (big chunks literally fall out of it.) They are single use because they won't stand up to rinsing and reusing. I won't buy them again and may not even finish using all I bought.

I've used this product for some time (purchased elsewhere but same product) and been perfectly happy, but new version of sponge is too soft and porous to be of any value as a cosmetic tool. A complete waste of money. A cosmetic sponge should not absorb, or in this case, allow makeup to soak through and stain fingers. A cosmetic tool has to have some bounce to it to caress face and apply makeup without streak or bumps. Vendor is not responsible for this company's poor decision to save a few pennies. This vendor in fact is extremely reliable. Please dear vendor, rely my concerns to parent company!

Very flexible, soft foam-like wedges

These are fine for the price but very flimsy. I’ve had other wedges that had much more significant “body” to them (held shape, didn’t compress as much, etc). These are very soft and compressible. Think thin, very flexible foam, and that is what you have here, cut into a wedge shape. If that is what you need, then these will do the job fine at a very good price.

These sponges absorb SO MUCH of the product, it becomes difficult to even apply. Once they soak up the product, they become extremely porous and flimsy, which makes the product even MORE difficult to apply. Then you end up pressing harder, which makes the absorbed product squeeze out onto your fingers. It makes a mess, makes your application patchy and streaky, and ... just don't. These are terrible.

I was pleasantly surprised by these. I usually go for wedges that are a lot more silicone-y (the denser, heavier ones), but I got these because they were cheap and would ship fast. They’re way better than I expected though! Soak up less product than the dense ones and give me fuller coverage with my products. Love it!
