I don't know why there are no reviews on this book. I found this book eons ago at a small book fair when I was coming out of my doctors office. I was dealing with a teenage son and had no idea how to navigate the waters. Since I love books I decided to take a look and see what they had. I found this book, "Wonderful Ways to love a teen, even when it seems impossible". The cover was different back then (attached photo) and I prefer it. This book helped me help my boy and gain an in with him.
This is not a 1000 page book on child psychology where you can't even get past the first chapter. This is a practical 100 page book that gives you instruction on how to deal with your teen and to help them while keeping them near to you. It tells you what your child is going through and how to help them.
I can't even articulate all the ways this book helped me. I applied one principal and stuck with it and can still remember the look on my son's face when I didn't get all worked up about something but instead gave him some room to mature, change, and feel safe. Once I followed what the book said, I watched my son change. He thought I changed, but all I did was give him space to find himself.
