This Ho Wood EO took a minute to grow on me. That's okay because I've grown to like it. I diffuse it as a room fragrant, and it works well as a bottom note to undercut some of my overly sweet oils. I'm a guy who likes nice aromas, but dislike the house or myself (or my boys) smelling like a fruit loop. (That was not a socially charged commentary, btw.) I'd buy this EO from Edens Garden again as I appreciate most of the EO purchased with them. This Ho Wood is one of my favorite oils to diffuse alone or in a blend. Goes nice with bergamot and lavender. Will do more research on Ho Wood and explore other uses. If anyone has suggestions on how they've used this oil please enlighten us.

I simply love this oil. It smells very woodsy and fragrant. Like all of the Eden's Gareden oils that I have, I mix with a carrier oil (safflower oil or almond oil), to create a therapeudic oil for myself and for my family members. The aroma is true to note. I also have bipolar disorder, so inhaling the scent helps with my depression. I would definitely buy from Eden's Garden again.

Ho wood essential oil smells just like Rosewood, with a very slightly sweeter note. It shares many properties with rosewood, and both are interchangeable. It is a scent that is entirely acceptable on its own, and is frequently used to make more masculine smelling concoctions.

This essential oil is excellent for eczema, dermatitis, pimples, wrinkles, irritated skin with microbial/bacteria concerns. I purchased a "new" sandalwood on Amazon a few months ago sold by a company named "Aviano Botanicals" and labeled as "100% pure therapeutic essential oil" and advertised as "all natural". After using the product mixed with a carrier as I always do, the sandalwood by Aviano ripped through my skin's acid mantel and erupted in contact dermatitis within 12 hours of use. I placed the bottle on the shelf and ordered East Indian Sandalwood from Edens Garden, a company I completely trust, and tried for 2 months to rid the eczema caused by the lab created sandalwood (an alcohol base apparently). When Edens Garden was able to restock Blue Tansy, knowing how great it is with skin, I purchased it with confidence as well as this essential oil, Ho Wood. I began applying Ho Wood, East Indian Sandalwood, Coconut, Himalayan pink rock crystal salt and purified water to the irritated area twice a day and splashing with pink salt water with ho wood when any irritation was felt. Within 3 days I noticed a huge difference. Within 5 days I smiled thinking of Edens Garden. Within 7 days I could detect the dermatitis however it's almost gone. I ordered 10 bottles of Ho Wood and 3 bottles of Blue Tansy and 25lbs of Himalayan Rock Crystal Pink Salt. Now, I keep all of the irritations on my skin completely undetected with this product as a main ingredient. It only takes a few drops of Ho Wood however there's a huge difference in how this product performs rather than related products, I like that Ho Wood has an initial scent that's easily blended with any essential oil, it stands on its own while blended with any of Edens Garden's line.Read more ›

HoWood has a strange name, but it is indeed a delicious oil. It has wood notes, but not overpowering at all, and it has a complex but uplifting fragrance.

This line has a great deal for essential oils, and the bottles are not as small as you may think. Well worth the price though some are higher, This is a good one I have found for pain, and the scent is different, but calming.

This lesser-known oil kept catching my eye while looking through Eden's Garden's website. I decided to give it a try and am so glad I did. It has a wonderful clear aroma just like freshly cut grass or springtime air after a rain. Wonderful!
