If you are on the fence about buying this candle because of the price—don’t be! This candle lasts FOREVER. I have had it burning over 8 hours on more than one occasion and it’s still not even halfway burnt out yet. The scent is by far one of the strongest candles ever. I seriously dislike it when I buy a candle and you can’t even smell it. This is certainly not one of those candles. AND the best part about it is the wooden wick. It sounds like rain drops hitting your window when it’s burning because it crackles. It’s seriously the most soothing sound in the entire world. I’m definitely buying more in other scents and never going back to regular candles.

I love love LOVE WoodWick candles! I generally buy their earthy/nature scents and I've never been let down. They do every thing you want a candle to do: burn evenly, last many, many hours, and smell nice without giving you a headache. Of course there's also their signature crackling wick which is pretty awesome. I always get questions and complements when friends come over and see one for the first time. If they keep making them, I'll keep buying them.

This candle had my entire house smelling amazing. Every time a friend comes over they ask where that great smell is coming from. WoodWicks are some of the best candles around now. I used to love Yankee Candle, but after the company kept getting bought out over and over again the quality is completely gone unless you like spending $28.00 for a jar with a nice label with zero smell. I bought eight Yanke Candles in late 2016 and every one of them sucked. Almost zero smell.

I got my first wooden wick candle from my sister in law, she has a antique store and a lady makes the candles with wooden wicks, and they smelled so good! But I went through those 2 candles and went looking for a candle with wooden wick and found WoodWick! Wow! The scent, aroma just fills my room and out into part of the house! I will never go back to regular wick candles. Also these candles last a long time, slow burn time, clean burn. The only thing I don't like that much is the popping sound, my sister in laws candles had a low crackle sound and it was relaxing, woodwick candle are more of a loud pooping sound and sound like when your trying to blow the candle out, so I keep the candle across the room and I don't hear it as loud, so that's not a big problem. I've had no problems with my candles coming cracked. They are wrapped in bubble wrap, then they put it into another layer of bubble wrap, so they do package them very well. These 2 scents are so yummy, I love the vanilla bean! And Carmel, have not gotten down to the Boscotti, but I'm sure it will smell Devine! If you love sweets baking in the oven you'll love these scents. I also love how big these candles are, and you get no candle wax on the side, it burns really well & even, and when done you can use it for anything, I love the wooden top that goes on the top when the candle is not in use, has a nice rubber ring under it, just a very cute candle and shape.
Will NEVER buy from this seller! They wont get back to me! My best friend I ordered it for is very sick! I have a pic of the candle all shattered! Waste of money! Do NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER! there are others who are better.
I reccomend this candle, just not from here. I would go to yankee candle, they will replace any damaged candle.

Like the scent. I've had Woodwick candles before, so I'm familiar with the crackling wick. it was part of the reason I bought this candle. This one seems different. It's been a few years since I've had one, so perhaps they're different now. This one crackles and snaps and sends small sparks out. I've had to burn it only near my fireplace on the hearth because I'm worried about a possible fire.

The scent is really nice. It fills the first floor of my home with a really comfortable scent. It's not overpowering and has notes of vanilla and a kind of woody fragrance. I like it.

LOVE these and happy to see them on Amazon for a reasonable price finally (same price as the big-box stores that sell em)! Not real sure on how to describe the smell, its kinda sweet woodsy? I'm a guy and not ashamed to burn these. They aren't fruity and not overpowering, just adds a nice scent to the background.
Mine arrived in several layers of bubble wrap, unbroken, unlike other's have experienced.

Seriously wonderful candle. I bought this for my mom as a birthday gift almost a year ago, but I ended up lighting it at her house more often than she used it. Unfortunately, I forgot that I'm much more of a candle person than she is. And as a candle person, there is no brand I've liked better.
Most people's favorite part of these candles is the crackling sound from the wooden wick as the candle burns. I enjoy that too, it adds some nice ambiance.
But what won me over about this brand was the scent. I have a really sensitive nose and I've messed around with a lot of different products for making rooms smell good. Air fresheners, diffusers, essential oils, those plug-in warmers, etc. Candles are still my favorite way to go, but I hate decorative candles that don't give off scent. If you want candles that give off scent, and really permeate a room with that scent, this brand is the way to go.
This is the medium size, and it can fill a whole room with the smell. My mom left in a guest bathroom when she wasn't using it in the living room, and the guest bathroom actually smells like the candle, even though it wasn't ever lit in that room.
I've seen a couple reviewers note that they had a problem with soot from the candles. I will add that I've never had a problem with that from the candles I ordered.
I would definitely buy this brand again, and this scent in particular as well.

Order arrived very promptly BUT the candle was packaged upside down and there was wax all over the outside of the glass container. Returned immediately as can't give this as a gift. Can't comment on sent or longevity as didn't light it. It smells very nice but again, didn't use it so can't comment on how well this smells when lit in a room.

not the correct top attached too small and scratched. also air pocket down side so top layer sunk down side. ruins it on the fireplace . never had this problem with trilogy candles before this one seems faulty..waiting for supplier to message me back ref return/refund.. if this was a gift to anyone is be even more unhappy! smell is lovely though. Will update once spoke to supplier to see how their customer service is

The candle I received was faulty, hardly any flame no crackle noise and the candle wax started to go brown, had many woodwork candles before (from elsewhere)and this is the first time this has happened,sent msg to seller (candles direct) received an email stating I needed to send a photo and the matter would be resolved. Did that and a follow up email and had no response since.
(Update) received an email telling me to trim the wick.. did that also and still the same.. the candle is burning fast to say that the flame is almost zero! Absolutely will not purchase another item from this company! Was assured the problem would be resolved and that was their resolve? Hmm appalling in my eyes! And good money down the drain.
Update.. we received a replacement candle which was ok for a few uses and then turned the glass black and smoked out living room out. I have just sent a msg to candles direct. Not happy

Is it a true Woodwick ?

I have bought Woodwick for many years and have never had a candle as bad as these ones. I stick to Woodwick because of their long burning time, lovely scent & no wastage of wax. These defy all of the usual attributes of a true Woodwick. I seriously doubt if these are genuine. They have hardly any scent and struggle to stay alight. I have had to constantly re light these during an evening. There is not even the usual wood crackle from them. I unfortunately bought 2 & so far have thrown out the first one, hoping that I was just unlucky to get a dud but on lighting the second one, it is proving to be just as awful. If you weren't familiar with Woodwick standard you could be mislead into thinking that these are the real thing. Biggest waste of money, don't make my mistake.

This is my first woodwick candle and I'm completely sold ! Just takes candles to another level ... the flickering flame is hypnotic, the crackling sounds is comforting, smell is authentic and soon filled my whole flat with the most wonderful aroma.
The shape and long wick both promote an equal burn.Worth every penny and won't go back to other one dimensional candles.
