I'm always for the hero of the story to climb out of impossible situations that seem insurmountable. His devotion to Marcela earns my respect in that he'd give his life for her. Some of the bad guy stuff is over the top, but that's what makes for a good story. Jeremy, I do a lot of reading and found some of your phrasing and passages to be world class.

I really enjoyed the first two books but this one was a joke. Not even Woody. Could be this dumb. I f you know anything abou t Brazil you know that no considers go into the favelas and to speak to a kingpin would be suicide. Woody is cool but you messed up by making him look and sound stupid. 😎

A very entertaining read. This series gives readers a look into MMA. As with most series that develop a character the author is hard pressed to keep the situations believable. That said I read for entertainment and this series is worth the time to read it. I received an advance copy for in order to review.

Brown writes with authority about mixed martial arts and marketing. Great characters from all walks and even a love interest that doesn't harm the tone. Glad I found Jeremy Brown.
