USDA Organic is protected by law, inspected by experts, traced from farm to store, and shaped by public input. USDA develops and enforces the organic standards, which require products to be produced using farming practices that maintain and improve soil and water quality, minimize the use of synthetic materials, conserve biodiversity, and avoid genetic engineering, among other factors. Crops can be certified organic if they’re grown without prohibited substances such as most synthetic fertilizers and pesticides for three years prior to harvest. Livestock are raised on pasture and treated humanely without growth hormones or antibiotics. Organic products do not contain GMOs or artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. Products that contain a minimum of 95 percent organic ingredients and use the USDA Organic seal are part of Climate Pledge Friendly.
Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

I'm picky about what I eat! I have chosen to eliminate as many additives, preservatives, junk, etc., as possible, from my family's diet (at least when they eat at home), and I try to buy ORGANIC whenever/wherever I can find it.
I recently searched for organic pickle RELISH to use in making tuna salad. After a long and exhaustive (and unsuccessful) google search for ORGANIC pickle relish, I switched gears ... and ordered these whole organic PICKLES. They are a divine addition to tuna salad! My family loves the replacement!
I was initially apprehensive ... relative to the missing ingredients usually included in pickle RELISH ... but was delighted that these pickles, which I diced to within an 1/8-1/4 inch of their beings, were a fabulous substitute! We did not miss ... not one iota ... the missing relish ingredients.
These pickles will remain on my Amazon grocery list ... for life!
(Note this is a cut and paste of my review of their baby dill pickles. Since the flavor was exactly the same IMO, what I said there applies here. I did add a tiny bit of text)
These pickles are good, and fairly crisp. Although another brand (McClure's) I reviewed recently has even a stronger vinegar taste, this brand has a tiny bit of one also. Which at least for me somewhat kills the garlic and dill taste. I have to admit what I'm looking for is something closer to how a Claussen tastes but without some of the additives that they add. (A Claussen to me has little or no vinegar taste, and a fairly strong garlic and dill taste). I'm glad I got to try these though, I'm not disappointed and for those that like a small but notable vinegar taste this is probably closer to a "five star" product. If I don't find a "Claussen sans additives" then I could see buying this brand from time to time.
I did hear that Bubbles dill pickles might taste closer to what I want, but might not be crisp. I have to admit that's just as important to me as well. These as stated above are almost as crisp as a Claussen.
These pickles are great! I know good pickle, as where I am from we pickled everything (including watermelon, tomatoes, and meat). These taste great, very garlicky, but the garlic taste is not too strong, it is more like undertone. The product is organic, which is hard to find! The cucumbers are smaller, which is how they are supposed it be. Try it, they are great!
This is as good as it gets for bottled pickle-eaters. Firmness, crunch, juiciness, flavor, it's all perfect, and like all Woodstock Farms items, for farm-freshness they are outstanding in their field.
It's not easy to find organic pickles - unclear why this is the case. It will probably be a different story this time next year. These cucumbers tend to be on the smaller side, if that matters, but that's OK by me. The tartness is just right for mature taste buds -- i.e., not overly mild. These are not a specialty flavor, though such pickles exist. Also, I am not one to eat them whole directly - it's sandwich value-add in my world. But taking those caveats into account, if it makes sense for you, order using the Subscribe alternative and stock a box at a time.
I liked these just fine. Not bitter, not sweet, just a good tasting, crunchy pickle. They are not the humongoloid pickes you find in a gas station... more a smaller, snack size. I would buy them again.
