After four years with her boyfriend, Cadie McCaffrey is thinking of ending things. Convinced Will doesn't love her in the "forever" way she loves him, Cadie believes it's time for her to let him go before life passes her by. When a misunderstanding leads to a mistake, leaving her hurt, disappointed, and full of regret, she finally sends him packing.
But for Will, the end of their relationship is only the beginning of his quest to figure out how to be the man Cadie wanted him to be. With the dubious guidance of his former pro-athlete work friends and tactics drawn from Cadie's favorite romantic comedies, Will attempts to win her back. It's a foolproof plan. What could possibly go wrong?

This love story took me all over the emotional map, breaking my heart first for the heroine, then for the hero, as they grappled with relational circumstances they tried (and failed) to control. In fact, a few times, I was so deep into the characters' pain that I couldn't even appreciate the author's attempt to use humor to lighten it up! I just needed a moment to wallow in their sadness. And yet, after the final page, I let out a happy sigh, thankful for the glorious ride.
"Cary Grant does not exist in my [Cadie McCaffrey's] Millennial world." (Turner,8). Enter Will Whitaker. From Cadie and Will's meet cue to their budding relationship the readers are instantly drawn in.
After 4 years together, Cadie is confident that Will doesn't love her the way she loves him and she breaks up with him.
Desperate to win Cadie back Will tries everything he can think including re-enacting scenes from her favorite romantic comedies. What could possibly go wrong?
Once again Ms. Turner deals with issues that Christian's face in society today. Clever chapter titles move the story forward and make the reader want to read just one more page and one more chapter until you reached the end of the story.
When I finished Wooing Cadie McCaffrey, I didn't want it to end and I couldn't stop smiling. You need to add this book to your TBR pile if you love romantic comedies.
~~ Wooing Cadie McCaffrey was provided to me by the author herself and Revell in return for my honest opinion. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher and the author .I was not required to write a positive review. All viewpoints expressed are my own. ~~
In Wooing Cadie McCaffrey, Bethany Turner realistically describes the struggles and temptations that Christians face when dating in the 21st century, while still trying to stay true to their religious beliefs. Other Christian fiction novels often gloss over these issues or do not mention them at all, but Bethany Turner continues to bring a needed voice to Christian fiction. This book is very highly recommended for readers of Christian fiction who love romance and humor.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from Revell through NetGalley and was not required to write a positive review. All opinions expressed are mine. After reading the ebook from NetGalley, I enjoyed the book so much that I also purchased my own paperback copy.
Funny. Touching. Happy. Thought-provoking. Frustrating. Uncomfortable. Real (like it or not.) You may not think it’s like real life, but it is. We just don’t want to admit it out loud.
Reviews that talk about “too much preaching” or “not enough spirituality” are really stretching it. This book is an awesome balance of real life sexual struggles and the spiritual battles that go with that, miscommunication, and working it out for unmarried Christian couples. And how God is ever-present through it all. We just don’t usually acknowledge him.
I’m a pastor’s wife and I highly recommend this book...for women AND men. Romance. Friendships. Parents. Banana pudding. And baseball!! I mean, come on!!!
Cadie and Will. Oh my! Both sides are equally represented...in the good and the bad lights. You feel for them both. You fight for them both. They both need to be slapped sometimes, so you’ll have to read it to see how it all works...or doesn’t work...out.
Bethany Turner’s writing is undeniably genius!!
Give it a chance. And don’t be close-minded.
Just enjoy the journey!!!
I liked Cadie. She is fun and smart and someone you'd want to get to get to know. Its a story that I believe is more true to life then many books out there. Full of fun, drama, uncertainty, questions, hope and forgiveness, this story tackles life's adventures with a humorous twist. I like that doesn't gloss over the mistakes one makes but shows the the journey it takes to forgive yourself, forgive others and how the Lord plays a big part in it.
I think the reader can learn so much from this story right along with Cadie.
I recommend this book to my family and friends.

It was real and raw at times but also full of life and laughter. I loved the friendships that surround the romance. The ending was great and well earned!
I loved seeing characters that have a genuine faith and genuinely struggle with that in their real life situations. Definitely recommend this to anyone who loves romance novels, romantic films or anyone who is currently dating, especially if you are a Christian.
A treat of a read👍
