After REALLY loving the first two Holy Ghost! albums, this one is a big disappointment from a sonic perspective. The first two albums sounded amazing.... they were punchy and dynamic. The 2nd album is actually called "Dynamics". This new album "Work" is aptly titled.... it is work to get through it. It's so LOUD, compressed, and devoid of any dynamics, it's simply boring to listen to. I crank it in the car, and it's loud without moving any air in the low frequencies. When played on a good audio system, it lets you down even further. Sorry HG!..... hope you get this message, and do better on the 4th record.

It’s funky with quality modern production and just a hint of retro vibe. It’s released in partnership with the legendary West End Records label and packaged beautifully. Outstanding!
