From the Publisher
From the Back Cover
When Professor Frederic M. Wheelock’s Latin first appeared in 1956, the reviews extolled its thoroughness, organization, and conciseness; at least one reviewer predicted that the book “might well become the standard text” for introducing students to elementary Latin. Now, decades later, that prediction has certainly proved accurate.
Workbook for Wheelock’s Latin is an essential companion to the classic introductory textbook. Designed to supplement the course of study in Wheelock’s Latin, 7th Edition, each of the forty chapters in this newly updated edition features:
- Transformation drills, word and phrase translations, and other exercises to test and sharpen the student’s skills
- “Word Power” sections that focus on vocabulary and derivatives
- Reading comprehension questions and sentences for translation practice
- Perforated pages for hand-in homework assignments and space for the student’s name and date

A major note - it does NOT come with an answer guide - you need to ask for it online. I did so and they sent me the file quickly, but it involves installing a new program and means you'll need a computer to use it.
That's a hassle - but the book is worth it.
My major concern is about the answer key. Without it, this 'workbook' is not of much use. I tried to email the Harper Collins address provided in the description several times over the month and have yet to receive a response. As instructed in the book, I then went to Harper Collins website and requested 'teaching guide' multiple times after filling out their tedious forms. However, up to this point, all I have got is still silence! What do you have to do to get an answer key?! I knew learning Latin is hard but did not imagine it would be this hard...

The copy I received was used with the former owner's name writ large upon
ther front and side.
Não tem answer key, porém as respostas dos exercícios do livro está disponível na internet em arquivo.pdf
