They have instant attraction while opening this new club and develops a relationship. They both have secrets Croix with a child and Raven with an old lover and a brother that she is estranged.with.
Croix Philbrook is taking over The Billionaires Club in Florida so that the business can get up and running without taking the owner from the California base of operations. Croix is completely focused on the job of startup, and is even thinking of volunteering at the Florida base in a more intimate setting. That is until he meets Raven and see's who she truly is.
This was an okay read, but I would definitely not recommend reading this without the others in the series being readily available. I was having some problems getting into this story and when I was finally becoming interested in the characters the book ended on a major cliffhanger. There was a lot of sexual content in this story with very little romance in this story, so just a heads up if you are like me and prefer the romance to the sex in any books she reads.
Having read the original Billionaires Cub, I knew what to expect as far as the premise of the club was concerned. The book is fast paced, well written and interesting. I found Raven to be a more compelling character than Croix, but with a second book and a HUGE cliffhanger, maybe I'll connect better with Croix. Well done, Sky, just hurry up with Part 2, PLEASE.
