About the Author
Nicole Ellis always knew her destiny was to work with animals. She grew up riding horses, bonding with family pets and she was always the fearless kid in the class who volunteered to hold the giant boa constrictor or pet the cheetah. She went on to study animal training with top trainers, learning to work with everything from exotics like bears and big cats to household pets like dogs and cats. Somewhere along the way, she realized that her mission as a trainer was actually to train other humans to strengthen their bonds with their pets through positive training and mutual understanding. Happier owners means happier pets, and then hopefully fewer unwanted pets will end up on the streets and in city shelters - that was Nicole's thinking. Nicole's own dog, Maggie, came from one of those shelters and became her animal training ambassador. In addition to working in commercials and movies, Maggie knows over one hundred behaviors and performs at hospitals, charity fundraisers and on TV.
Brandise Danesewich has longstanding careers on both sides of the camera. She found early success as an international model while developing her equally impressive skills in photography and video projects. While she wasn't walking the runways in the world's fashion capitals, she was creating album art for Jackson Browne, shooting for Rolling Stone, filming a tour documentary with Crosby Stills and Nash and the Jazz at the Lincoln Centre Orchestra and using photography for environmental activism with the Plastic Pollution Coalition. She gained notoriety in the music world hosting a popular radio show in Los Angeles called Border Radio. Her popular Instagram account, @antimodel, showcases her passions for music, animals, life on the road and human interest stories.

Either because of a friend or family member who's life is touched by one.
These working dogs and their handlers provide a service that touches the hearts of those that need it the most. We take our health and general well being for granted while there are many who couldn't get around without a working dog by their side.
In my case a close member in our family was in the hospital for an extended amount of time and the service dogs that would visit him every day was the highlight of his day.
I love this book because the working dog does what they do selflessly. They do it out of love and this book honors them in return. Here in these pages you meet many service dogs all across the US that touch the lives of many.
I think they picked a great variety of dogs to feature. I am a tad prejudiced as my friend's latex alert dog is in here.
He saved my life 2 times and I am grateful that he's included. All kinds of working dogs. Who knew there
was a bed bug working dog? This will be out for all to see when visitors come.
I know this will become a best seller as these dogs are all so special.
I am encouraged that my latex alert dog is out there, waiting for me when the time is right.
This book offers hope, love and inspiration.
Excellent photography on every single page..
