Striking really. It I just never had even the tiniest inclination to wonder why...until now.
Having escaped by the skin of their collective teeth from the Grey Wolf star system Jessica and the crew of Sabrina is flung of course to the very edge of habitable space, i.e in the Perseus arm of the Milky Way.
And as usual the Sabrina and crew are virtual trouble magnets. The fact that Jessica felt obliged to even model as Retyna Girl in an add campaign on the planet Marsalla in order to be able to get sufficient fuel for Sabrina, gives you an idea of some of the capers and shenanigans these crew members got up to. Very entertaining ly indeed.
And that is when it struck me. Jessica of the purple skin and now with added retinol to become wondrous Retyna Girl! I am such an idiot.
But that cannot and does not in fact detract from this very entertaining second and action packed World at the Edge of Space. Enjoy!
This whole series has the character development of a space opera with the mix of hard science one can always enjoy.
If you want to get a good idea how meticulous this whole setup is, just take a look at the road-map listed over here:

Plus go to youtube and look up Isaac Arthur and you'll see just how deep the real world science influences this series.
I love it.
I love these shorter stories that M.D. Cooper writes. They're like a great sci-fi episode that keeps you coming back for more!
