Update 4/10/2015 - I contacted Pyrex weeks ago asking what they could do about this; they don't respond. This seems to be their usual method of sticking their head in the sand when people correctly point out that these explosively fail. Hilariously, though they didn't respond, they subscribed me to the Corningware promotional email list. Nice job, jerks.
A couple things some people might not know from the description. First, it is a standard 1.5 quart pan. Secondly, while it is technically 11 inches long, the handles account for that. In reality it is the standard 8.75 inch size, which is good because most recipes assume you are using something that size.
If you are in the market for a good pan, I'd recommend this one. It really has only one downside, which is not having a lid. Other than that it's just as good as any other more expensive bread pan.
The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I do not believe it is made of borosilicate glass like pyrex used to be. I have had a newer pyrex item explode with normal use because it was made of soda lime glass (cheaper and supposedly less prone to breaking on impact, but cannot handle temperature changes as well) so it is important to note that you cannot handle new pyrex items like you would the decades old items.
