This Sauce is wonderful, it is more on the sweeter side as opposed to being extremely salty like most teriyaki sauces are. the sodium count is 110mg for 1 Tbsp VS. Kikoman Teriyaki sauce at 610 mg per Tbsp. Looking over the Kikoman ingredients, I just saw it contains wine, yikes! Getting back to my review, I grill all my meats with this, makes a great shish kabob marinade, and love it on my grilled veggies. Tonight I just make broiled chicken kabobs with mushrooms, peppers, onions, and pineapple, over a bed of brown rice with the cooked juices. Let me tell you it was so yummylicious I had to go for seconds. So if you are looking to reduce your salt content, and want to try something a little different, then this is the teriyaki marinade for you!

My wife and I love this stuff. Marinating steak with it tenderizes and gives the meat a great flavor, nicely complex. My local supermarkets have it only sporadically, so I turned to Amazon as I do more and more for food products.

I love this sauce. For years now I have used this sauce as a marinade for pork tenderloin and everyone loves it and asks for the "recipe". If you are looking for traditional teriyaki - this is NOT IT - it is sweeter and thicker than most teriyaki sauce and does have a pineapple flavor to it. We love it and would recommend it highly.

I was actually introduced to this by a cook where I work, and yes it has a very distinct flavor. Hawaiian style Teriyaki is much sweeter, less salty, and thicker than your average grocery store stuff, which is more like Japanese style. I used it to marinade chicken, and it was the deepest marinade that my friends and my mother had ever seen. I personally liked the flavor and like to pair it with ginger and pineapple. Perhaps it is because I was given a heads up that it would be different than what I was used to, but I thought it was pretty amazing and I plan to order some and give them to my family and friends who also like it.

Although a bit pricey, this product is AMAZING! I always receive complements on my grilled chicken skewers, London Broil steak, stir fry, and more. My meat remains soft and tender while having amazing flavor!

Quite possibly the worst teriyaki flavor I've ever had. Tastes strongly of corn syrup, molasses, pineapple juice and nothing more. I am frankly amazed that anyone would give this product 5 stars.

This marinade has a nice mild non-salty flavor for marinading fish or meat. We use it on salmon and pork for BBQing.
