I just gave Motorhead's "Everywhere Farther than Everyplace Else" DVD/CD package a spin and rest assured, it is worth picking up.

It contains the entire 2011 Santiago, Chile show shot superbly (there is little frenetic camera-jumping around relative to "Stage Fright" and other abominations), and the black and white cinematography actually WORKS!

This is a nice overall package - during the main show, the boys are more sober, together and rested than I have probably ever seen them, and it's just a smoking performance in front of a wild crowd in a Chilean soccer stadium. It gets better from there, with amazing, fairly lengthy interviews with the band in two different locations, during which you really get to see how they interact as long-time friends/bandmates/enemies. Again, they aren't drunk or exhausted and give thoughtful answers about where they are in their careers and what makes them tick.

There is a last, superfluous interview with Lemmy in a dressing room in Manchester, as well as some equally superfluous concert footage out of Manchester and New York City.

Overall, it's a very solid official document of Motorhead in 2011. This is definitely a treat to watch.

First of all, the concert video looks great in black & white (like the one from the 1916 tour did), grainy & smoky, just like most of our heads are at a Motorhead concert. The band is right on, as always. Have they ever been bad? No! I've seen them every tour since 1984 and they've never failed to put on an excellent show, and this DVD/CD gives proof to that. Best band in the world? 200 billion fans can't be wrong! Buy! Buy!

Once again, producers Scot McFadyen & Sam Dunn, of Banger Films, makers of the brilliant: "Iron Maiden / Flight 666", "Metal- A Headbangers Journey", "Global Metal" & "Metal Evolution" films, bring the world another metalhead's cinematic delight, this time setting their sights on Lemmy Kilmister, Mikkey Dee & Phil Campbell, otherwise known as the {great} Motorhead, in a three disc extravaganza of Live footage from Santiago, Chile, 2011's "The World Is Ours" tour, New York & Manchester UK 2010. The bulk of the live footage is beautifully shot in Black 'n' White, from the Teatro Caupolican, in Santiago to a rabid bunch of fans who hang on every blistering note, chanting in football(soccer)chorus's between songs, which only kicks the Motorhead boys into higher gear. Drummer Mikkey Dee, is especially strong, turbocharging the Motorhead engine & Phil Campbell's guitar shreds. All in all, this is super high octane metal & even though Lemmy's usual growl is alittle extra coarse, it's still powerful, with his bass playing, songwriting & larger than life presence, showing no sign of slowing down - thankfully for all of us. Also included in this beautiful (looking) package, is a 23 page picture book, extensive interviews with bandmembers and 2 Live CD's from all three locations, which makes this, a must have, for all metalheads. I can't understand the whining reviews here, complaining of the Santiago black'n'white footage, which makes up most the package - it's brilliant & actually makes the show more exciting. One can compare it to the colour footage from NYC & Manchester, to see the difference. "They Are Motorhead & they play Rock'n'Roll!"

Motorhead..."Enough said"...DVD and CD well worth it. Great mix of new and old tracks. The black and white picture is perfect for the band, they have never had much color just silver and black.

This is an excellent dvd. Sure the concert in Chili is in black and white. But what the other reviewers fail to tell you is that the concerts in Manchester and New York are filmed in color. Good solid setlist and Dorothee looks smokin' hot!!!!World Is Ours 1 Everything Further Than Everyplace

I have most of Motorheads DVD collection, this is one of their better shows. I like the group and have followed them for 15 years. Only problem you might have is not much in the way of new music, just the same playlist again.

With a total running time of three hours, this DVD is an essential purchase for every MOTÖRHEAD fan. The main program is a complete 17-song concert from April 2011 in Santiago, Chile. The fact that it's shot entirely in black and white, admittedly caused initial trepidation. However Banger Films, better known as Sam Dunn and Scot McFayden - the team that brought you IRON MAIDEN Flight 666 and RUSH: Beyond The Lighted Stage - do a damn near perfect job of capturing Lemmy, Phil and Mikkey in all their glory. Topping it off is the band's long-running producer Cameron Webb, ensuring an almost impeccable audio mix. But we're only at the half-way point. Switching from b&w to full colour, the cameras capture three songs performed live in New York in February 2011, including a rousing rendition of `Killed By Death' featuring special guests Doro Pesch and Todd Youth. Then we travel back to Manchester, UK in November 2010 for another six songs, during which Motörhead is joined on stage by Michael Monroe for a stellar take on `Born To Raise Hell'. Must say though, given Motörhead's 20 studio album discography, it's a tad frustrating that all three songs from New York and four songs from Manchester are duplicated in the Santiago set. Bonus materials come in the form of interviews conducted in each of the three aforementioned cities; subjects discussed include: the band dynamic, life on the road, the importance of a sense of humour, and The Monkees! Again, there is some topical overlap. But Motörhead provide full value for money as each of the 26 songs contained on the DVD, are replicated across two CDs included in the package. As if that wasn't enough, housed inside the lavish foldout digipack, is a 24-page booklet; can't wait for Vol 2.
