So, we’ve carried this burning desire to move overseas with our 3 kids in spite of all of the limiting beliefs & frowns from friends & family but it has been countless hours of sifting through dozens of blogs with very specific experiences & no alternative advice. So we did our best to hack together the best info & plan in order to get ready to move our little family of 5 to Costa Rica.
As you imagine, we’ve been desperate to find a resource that reviews multiple ways to make our wild adventure more structured, and this book does exactly that.
I've never had a hard time understanding the power that travel & education through travel can have on kids, but the author does a great job of leveraging very practical stories & logic to help people understand why the "existing education system" isn't the ONLY answer to bright futures for our kiddos.
It's not only resourceful, it's engaging & easy to read & scan for the quick answers, too!
I am a digital nomad myself and on my world explorations, I have met so many parents with kids who made it all work! The author will guide you through the many unique challenges and rewards you will gain educating your children in a unique way. You will find a detailed overview of traditional and non-traditional teaching methods while emphasizing the rewards your children gain from World Schooling! I highly recommend this book to all digital nomads and those families who see travel as integral part of their lives and want to raise their children free of prejudices and traditional constraints.
Highly recommended to anyone in charge over someone else's education, not just to the traveling / location independent audience.
