From the Author
MR: Nope. I've released a military sci fi trilogy, The Tetra War, that's garnered its share of attention. WWVR was one of my earlier novels - Nagant War - that was picked up by a small press, reworked, edited, refined, and now is being released as a vastly improved book. It's really exciting to see something taken to the next level by a pro team, and WWVR has definitely been cranked to 11 by the folks at Reprobatio.
MR: Absolutely on the sequel. As far as length, it's long because I had multiple arcs I wanted to complete so the book could be read as a standalone. When I first wrote it, it was more like 145K words. I want to say they trimmed it to 118K, and even though it's still longish, it's a fast read and doesn't lag, which was one of my goals. I wanted it to move and never bog down.
I'm a jack of all trades. You name it, I've done it. Now, I live in Guadalajara, Mexico, where I've been hanging my hat for a year, and I'm a full time author, which is amazing, especially in a foreign country. It was a lifelong dream, and I'm grateful for the chance to live it. I tell my friends that I'll keep writing 'em as long as they keep buying 'em, which so far has worked out.
