Ultimately, I recognized the world Grant brings to life. While some elements of the story are dated (no discussion of vouchers, for example), most components are as relevant today as they were in the 1980s. This is a must read for those seeking to better understand the post-high school, or the shopping mall high school. Those seeking an understanding of the post-post high school should start here and then look elsewhere.
