My granddaughter is just 7 and loves animals... She has recently learned to play adult card games... a step above Old Maid & Crazy Eights... She loves these cards and reads them often after playing games with me or her sister... So much more valuable than just playing cards...

lovely although i got to admit the cards feel too stiff and hard to shuffle. yes, shuffling is awkward.... i so fear the damage too much shuffling will do that i don't actively use these to play with. :( otherwise, great visuals for kiddies.

These playing cards are really beautiful. Educational as well. I like that a portion of the cost of these goes to the WWF, and that all of the animals pictured are endangered.

I grew up playing card games with my mom, and they are some of my best memories. Gin rummy was our favorite. As well as War, Poker, Solitaire, Spades, etc. I firmly believe that you will never be bored if you have a deck of cards. I love teaching my 6-year old nephew how to play these card games. Now I have a beautiful deck of cards to teach him with. I'm tempted to buy another pack. They're so pretty that I don't want to mess them up!
