These questions will always be in our minds when we think of falling in love but true love everyone has their way of knowing.. in their heart.
In Kiss an Angel , Titus (Jeremiah) and Ginny loved each other Titus couldn't help Ginny by telling or giving her the answers , she had to figure them out herself.
Metra had me falling in love with Titus as he struggles to show and tell Ginny he loved her and wanted to be with her, and Ginny loved Titus but was scared to talk with her parents or with anyone without sounding like she was crazy.
For Titus and Ginny, they had to figure out by themselves how to make it work. The way will bring tears to your eyes .
Really loved how Meara brought them together and brought Kathryn le Veques Titus de Wolves back with a happier ending.
Jeremiah drops into her life almost daily – whenever the mood strikes him (but it is probably her inner whim requesting his presence). On this day, he drops in as she is getting out of her bath. For Ginny, it seems bad enough that Jeremiah knows every freckle on her body – but did he also know every thought in her heart? If so, she thinks that could be a problem. Each time Jeremiah drops onto the scene, he is even more handsome than the last – at least that is how Ginny realizes she feels. And now that it is time for Ginny to leave for London to endure another long, tedious season on the marriage mart – she doesn’t want to go. It isn’t that she doesn’t want to find a special man. She does. But Ginny wants a special union with a man- not just someone with a title or a hunter after her family money. She wants what her sister and her mother have in their marriages. She wants love. Ginny wants someone to love her, someone who will make her heart flutter when she is near him. So far, the only person that makes Ginny’s heart flutter is…Jeremiah, her Guardian Angel.
Jeremiah is a three hundred and fifty year old angel, but he has not forgotten what it feels like to want a woman. And his bond with Ginny – Lady Eugenia – has become more than just feeling protective. He feels more than lust. He has never felt this way before about a woman, and flees when she gets close to him. There were rules, and they keep angels and their charges living separate lives. Jeremiah realizes he cannot ever have Ginny. He steps back and watches her meet the ancestor of the man that killed him – a handsome man to whom Ginny forms an immediate attraction. It’s clear to Jeremiah that Ginny will not have trouble finding a husband this season.
Ginny had always felt blessed to have Jeremiah there whenever she needed him. Ginny feels closer to Jeremiah than anyone else in her life. But now she finds herself comparing every man she meets with Jeremiah. This cannot continue – it goes against the rules for Guardian Angels, doesn’t it? Frustrated, Ginny realizes that what she had always thought was a blessing, may really be the worst curse imaginable.
I loved this story. Meara Platt has developed Ginny and her Guardian Angel, Jeremiah so well, that you (as the reader) develop feelings and become part of the story with them. I laughed and cried with this story. I love her story creativity – and wished that this story had been longer.
FIVE STARS! *****
Written by Meara Platt
Lake District, England 1819, Lady Eugenia Berseford daughter of the Earl of Berseford is ready for her coming out. Ginny at an early age was aware of her guardian angel Jeremiah. Ginny could call him up in a minute and he was there. Although, no one except her sister could also see him he was her love.
As she grew older, her infatuation with Jeremiah became love. She didn't think she could find a man to be his equal. Jeremiah found himself feeling more than angel feelings for her. He had been a guardian angel for three hundred and fifty years and this was the only charge he had found himself lusting over.
Meara presents a problem here with her characters one being a human and the other an angel. Her clever writing skills makes it work. This novella was a fully packed story I could not put down.
This book was fabulous as it involved Ginny, who has not been able to find a suitable man to marry, and her guardian angel, Jeremiah, who is one sexy and hot angel. Ginny has trouble finding any man that can compare to Jeremiah.
Is it possible for an angel that was a man who dies over 300 years ago find love with a human? Can the have their happily ever after?
I encourage you to download the book to find out. You will not be disappointed. I promise you.
Meara Platt, places love at the very heart of what it means to be "protected, safe, loved, and watched over" in the ultimate guise- a guardian angel.
A love story that had me searching for loopholes for the happily ever after!
Loved it! A must read if you're looking for a heartfelt love story!
