To paraphrase from a movie line, this book has something for everyone, because it will irritate both those who welcome change and those who want to preserve the past. In many ways this book was a prophecy of the future of the Church of Christ denomination of Christianity.
If you want to know where the Church of Christ came from and why it has gone where it is, you should read The Worldly Church.
