The story about Dale, getting Emily Bullen – turned state evidence on Thomas Bullen – to the trial on time.
Getting on a plane, Dale find a bomb on the plane, placed there by the real traitor – and so he needs help.
Boyfriend Joseph is at a wedding for one of his SEAL Buddies. When he hear from Dale that there is a problem, he collects his team and come to the rescue.
They get a vacation on Sanctuary pay, and ohhh Lord, hot sweet and loving.
We get a closer look on the relationship between Dale and Joseph – and that is adorable, hot, sexy and sweet….
Now I just want that for Kayden/Beckett, Manny/Josh and Nik/Morgan ;)
Now, I will say that some people might be a little put off by the suddenness of each couple getting together but I found them perfectly acceptable for both the characters and the scenarios. Because of the possible life and death situations that the Sanctuary team members and their subsequent charges are placed in, I felt that it was very believable for each couple to realize grabbing life and love with everything they have when it's right in front of you, the right call. This might be a turnoff for some but it was not for me.
I found it to be a well written, character driven tale that is definitely worth reading. As I started out with, I think it should be read as one long story to get the sweeping effect of both the mystery and the love as well as the friendships that are explored.
Thank you RJ for sharing again your incredible talents.
I am enjoying how RJ has continued this series even after the main drama with the Bullens is over.... we keep getting more books and they are good!

This one is about two of my favourite guys Joseph and Dale.Dale is escorting a witness back and
Joseph his lover is waiting patiently for him when all sorts of things start to go wrong.
Each of them ends up in danger while the other does all he can to help and that is when they
both realise just how much in love they are.All they want to do is be together.
A great story written by a great author. If you read and enjoyed the other Sanctuary stories I think
you will enjoy this one as well its just as good as the others They are all great.
Dale guards Emily Bullen, but she drives him nuts with her rich, bored lady behaviour. Bringing Emily back from the West Coast secret place to Albany,NY soon turns into a nightmare. A bomb is hidden in their private plane and hired assassins are waiting at their destination airport to finish off all loose ends. More dangerous situations than Dale and Joseph like to have in their way before they hopefully can enjoy their off-time together. We learn little how this big case finally ends at court, but honesty, I had been totally taken in how Dale and Joseph solidified their hot trysts into a strong relationship with a sound future together. Joining both men at Lace Placid and later at Dale's home, left me with a happy smile and the wish to read more about the Sancturary guys.
Thank you dear RJ Scott for all the hours of pure reading entertainment , sucking me into the Sancturary world right from the first chapter thanks to your well- structured, multilayerd plot, your fluent writing style and your vibrant characters. Since starting with „Guarding Morgan“ I loved them all and will terribly miss them.
