Introducing the Cinemin Swivel, the ultra portable multimedia micro projector powered by Texas Instruments DLP technology for ultra clear picture quality. It is designed to work with mobile devices like Apple's popular iPhone, Cinemin takes projection out of boardrooms and movie theaters and into the palm of your hand.
Take projection out of the boardrooms and put it literally in the palm of your hand with the Cinemin Swivel Multimedia Pico Projector by WowWee. This pocket-size projector features Texas Instruments' DLP projection technology and a unique 90-degree hinge that allows you to project onto virtually any surface. Use it to connect to a wide variety of handheld devices--such as the iPod, iPhone, and Flip Video--so that you can project your videos, photos, and more with anyone, at any time.
The Cinemin Swivel can be used with your favorite portable media players, including the iPod, iPhone, Flip Video, PSP, digital cameras, portable DVD players, and smartphones with video-out functionality. Not for use with desktop, laptop, or netbook computers. Just connect your device to the Swivels' easy-to-access AV-in jack, and you're ready to project. And with its unique, mid-body 90-degree hinge, the Swivel can project on any surface you can image, such as the ceiling, walls, and floor, without a tripod or prop.
Ultra-clear, High Contrast Picture
Featuring Texas Instruments' DLP projection technology, the Cinemin Swivel produces remarkably clear, high contrast pictures with a resolution of 480 x 320 (HVGA). In a dimly lit environment, the Swivel can project a crisp 60-inch image from over eight feet away, or from the floor to the ceiling in a typical room.
Longer Battery Life
And unlike most other handheld projectors with battery spans of only 60-90 minutes, the Swivel has a rechargeable battery that lasts over two hours--so you'll never have to worry about your movie or slide show being cut short. The Swivel also includes an AC adapter, giving you the option of running it off any standard electrical outlet.
Innovative 90-Degree Swivel Base
The Swivel boasts a one-of-a-kind, stylish 90-degree hinge that makes it easy to project onto the floor, walls, or ceiling without having to use a prop or a tripod. The handheld projector also includes a built-in speaker with adjustable volume and a headphone jack, allowing you to connect your own portable speakers for when you need to crank the volume.
Equipped for International Traveling
Lightweight and compact, the Swivel is perfect for traveling. And because it comes with a stylish, padded carrying case and includes four power adapters for North America, the UK, Europe, and Australia--the Swivel is ideal for your next globetrotting excursion.
By taking projection technology out of boardrooms and literally into the palm of your hand, the Cinemin Swivel lets you enjoy your multimedia collection virtually anywhere, with anyone.

Top customer reviews
There was a problem filtering reviews right now. Please try again later.
The real problem, though, is that it has minimal product description in the package and most importantly, the customer service is non-existent. When I say non-existent, I mean there isn't any, not a little, not the normal amount with mean people. No. None. Zip. Nada. There are no phone numbers available. I searched and searched online. All that's available is an e-mail address, but not on the box. No, you gotta go to the website. Did they answer? Are you kidding me?
I'll never buy from this company again. I should've bought one of the other pico projectors. Amazon has two available, one with blue trim that holds the ipod in a cradle, and one that's all black and almost looks like a billfold. Sorry, can't remember the names. The latter seems to be the top of the line; I believe it's got a laser. The former is probably what I would've bought.
So, if you can afford it, buy one of the others. But if you're absolutely strapped for cash, but somehow must have a pico projector, then go ahead and get the Cinemin. But buyer beware! You're on you're own.
In time, I started my research and found this same device on Amazon, offered by 'Shoptronics', This price was awesome so I had to purchase the Cinemin Swivel. The delivery was prompt and I was eager to open up the package to check out this device.
I have to admit, this is the funny part, I connected the device to my iphone (with excitement) and try to focus the visual....it was very blurry, well extremely blurry. After a day of debating on returning the device or keeping it, I decided to really look over the device one more time. Embarrassing to say, I found the tab for the celaphane (I guess this is what it is) covering for the device lens. IT WORKS...and the resolution is great.
Soon after, we had all of our family over for a pool party. We wanted to show off this device so we hooked it up to our laptop out by the pool. We showed a movie on a large display screen while family memmbers ate, played in the pool, and enjoyed the movie. It was great way to share with family.
Now if you want to know a little more about the resolution...the salesperson at the store in the mall was correct. The resolution can be faunt if there is too much bright light in room or outside. I would suggest doing what we did which was to use it when the surrounding light is low. I also found that it can be played in a room that is well lit but it's best when it is placed a short distand from the display.
Here is my total review.
Resolution: Awesome in low light. Good in lit areas, with display close by.
Audio: Awesome: Can be used with headphones or external speaker system.
Compatibility: Awesome: The Cinemin Swivel hooked up to my iphone, laptop, and includes cords to hook up to a cable box, dvd player, and on son's gaming system.
I hope this review helps you to determine if this is a device for you. I would purchase it again, with no worries.
