Their brief affair burned hot in the previous book, but it all came to an abrupt end when they couldn’t communicate their feelings, sending Monica running back to a callous fiance and cold job in New York. But when Tom passes away, Monica returns, and Ty takes her back with open arms. Of course, getting from shared grief to a happily ever after isn’t an easy thing, but Tom’s will makes sure they can’t walk away from each other so easily again.
In Two to Wrangle, the main conflict is nothing more than Monica’s trust issues. Ty’s feelings are clear, and while he doesn’t exactly pin his heart on his sleeve right at first, Monica’s not so blind that she misses his intentions. However, she hasn’t had the best experiences when it comes to love. From a mother who soured her on the idea to a father she barely knew to a fiance who was really just the scum of the earth, she’s got no real wisdom to draw from in trying to work out her emotions. But Ty’s rather patient — and all kinds of hot — and with a little unexpected advice from his ex-wife, Monica begins to see a little hope on the horizon.
The hotel that took center stage in the first book seems like more of an afterthought in this one, but I have to say I liked that. As important as I know it was, I much preferred seeing these two on a ranch, where Ty clearly belonged and Monica began to fit in rather well. Two to Wrangle by Victoria Vane is just as short as the first book was, but at least in this one, the story reaches a real ending. With crazy heat between Ty and Monica, as well as some strong, emotional moments, it’s a solid, fun, quick read.
Hell on Heels (Hotel Rodeo #1): Hell on Heels is part one of Ty Morgan and Monica Brandt's story. It introduces us to these two polar opposite people, one is city and one is country (let the games begin lol), who share one commonality ... Tom, Monica's father and Ty's mentor and business partner. When the two meet, it's nothing but butting heads LOL but fear not, you know what they say about opposites :)
NOTE: Be prepared ... sad cliffhanger ahead :( (but not surprising....)
Two To Wrangle (Hotel Rodeo #2): Two to Wrangle picks up right where Hell on Heels left off so I cannot emphasize enough that you must read it first!
Through tragedy and sadness and a common goal, Ty and Monica begin to use their chemistry and spark in a positive way! There's more drama than necessary thrown into this, in my opinion, but it doesn't really deter from the overall satisfying story. I'm not gonna lie and tell you that These two were exciting every step of the way and that I didn't struggle at times with the back and forth and back and forth (ugh) but because the story was short, it made it possible for me to enjoy it even with all the #twichy lol Aaannnnd we get our HEA for Ty and Monica #win
Beauty and the Bull Rider (Hotel Rodeo #3): This is a new (sorta) story to the trilogy (sorta) LOL It's the story of Delany McCall. Now, if you read the series from the beginning, or even just Two to Wrangle, then you know Delany is Ty's ex-wife and the reason she came looking for him in Vegas. Cue, our very sexy bull-rider, Zac McDaniel, Ty's best friend who's secretly had a thing for Delany since day one! (seriously, it's like a daytime soap opera up in this trilogy lol). I really loved their story. It had sentimentality and humor and spark. It was an all around fell good story where everyone wins in the end.
I have to say, I wasn't too impressed when I started this series, but it grew on my very quickly. It turned out to be quite entertaining as a whole but I wouldn't recommend reading any of the stories on their own. They're all connected and need to be read in order in order to enjoy the series.

In the case of this series I do recommend you read book one first, since it ends in a cliffy and book two picks right up at that point.
Tragedy brings Monica back to Vegas along with her boss and former Fiancé Evan and the loss of To. Actually helps to clear the air between Monica and Ty , because Tom's will left the Ranch and the hotel to Ty, so he no longer has Monica making decisions, though he could most certainly use her expertise and funds to re- do it right. Though this change helps level the playing field Ty was a bit overzealous I. How he thought Tom's memorial service should go and stealing Tm's ashes from the funeral home to have a good ole boy service at the hotel bar may not have been the best way to start new.
These two go back and forth and then of course Ty's , ex-wife Delaney showing up in Vegas and wanting something from Ty and cozying up a bit makes Monica concerned that maybe Ty is not over his ex.
Ty really wants nothing to do with Delaney anymore, however she has the ability to bring investors to the table and he is in need of funds. Monica and Ty continue to volley back and forth with Ty trying to prove just how much she means to him and it is not easy, but Reisting Ty well, dam near impossible.especially when he is not only handsome but brave, just puts himself in the way of an upset bull to save his buddy Zac , and he is straight forward about what he wants.
Monica is beginning to see that what they have together can be and is special. Monic cuts Evan loose totally and send shim packing choosing to stay and make a go of the new remodeled hotel and to give her and Ty a chance!
Now did you think I gave you the ending, of course not after all Dealney is still looking for something from Ty. Ty's buddy got hurt in the Bull ring, then of course their is still the hotel to remodel and re- vamp.
Looking foward to book Three.
